That was awesome. :)
It can also happen if you have an idle city.

I just wanted to say that I updated last night and wanted check it out for a few minutes. Four hours later I realized it was 2 am and that I had to go to work in 6 hours. That's bad for me but a good sign for the devs. :)
What does essence represent? What is does it "Buy"? Just Curious. :)
You guys just made me spit out my morning coffee as I laugh manically. My coworkers think I've gone off the deep end. Thanks. :D

I would love to see the return of the Dynasty system but it does need some work. I’m hoping they release it as DLC after FE ships. I also hope that they add sea, flying and subterranean units in another DLC pack.

I would most likely not use it unless there is a PBEM. Still for $1? That's a no brainer for a yes. :)
Thanks so much for doing this OP! I’ve wanted to do it but I’ve been too busy with work. I keep creating custom factions based off of fantasy literary characters (Conan, Merlin, Gandelf, etc…) and bump into issues. You covered the stuff I found plus more. :) Your 1.6 is the one the really bugs me the most. I also wish you could make custom hero units. I like the idea of having a Literary Sovereign (I.E. King Arthur) with a Literary Hero (I.E Me
Great update! Take as long as you need! I can now finish Legend of Grimlock with out feeling guilty. :)
Cry havoc and let slip the Modders of Code! [e digicons]:D[/e]
Huh. All this time I thought that the running in place was a bug.
I always thought that the threat rating was more of a indicator of a stacks's Special I.E. Magical capabilities.
Apparently there is a way to customize the Metro interface somewhat it's just not that noticeable: http://www.winsupersite.com/article/windows8/8-running-consumer-preview-142465
I would like to see multiple levels of Outpost like city level. Each level could increase the influence/ZOC range and Combat bonus (more on this in a sec). The Outpost could allow for garrison of units and the amount of units could depend on level. The reason to garrison an outpost is that they give the garrison a bonus to defense and they defend everything in their ZOC. Outposts could also be captured. I would think 3 levels could cover it and they could be name
3) The Sovereign may cast a single spell in any battle his faction is involved in, inside his own domain - even if he is not physically in the battle. This will put the strongest magical character in the faction in every battle, metaphorically speaking.
If you want the sovereign to cast spells outside his/her domain they can imbue a Champion so that they can cast their spells through the Champion.&nbs
I do have to say Frogboy’s comments had me laughing so hard my wife (she sits across from me) thought I was going crazy… well more crazy then normal that is. :)
I like the idea of some kind of Magical siege but why limit it to magic? Why can’t each of the tech trees have some kind of siege breaker at the end of the Tree? Maybe the Civ tree will allow you to hire saboteurs to poison wells/food supplies which would create unrest in the city which as you mentioned earlier a lot of unrest will mean a city could raze itself. Warfare can get Siege Engines which get big bonus to attacking cities to units in its stack but have no defense.
One thing that bugged me and was a bit confusing at first was which spell was tactical and which was strategic. I wish the UI made them easier to separate out from each other. Also adding a little bit of flavor to them would be nice. Maybe Strategic Magic should be called Rituals and Tactical ones Spells. That way you can tell by the name where it’s cast. I kinda like the sound of the Ritual of Making, especially if it takes 25 seasons to complete. :)
Can we see more interesting labels for the magic proficiency instead of stuff like "Expert"? "Expert" is a bit mundane. It sounds like something you would apply to a person who is good at C++ for example, rather than a guy who is proficient in magic in a fantasy setting. Something like "Adept" or "Archmage" would lend a little more flavor I think.
I was just about to post the samething.
The "god rays" are pretty cool looking.
Plus its fun to run around and kill the other sides champion, especially if you happen to be playing as an Empire and that champion is Janusk.
You just converted me to an Empire player. [e digicons]}:)[/e]
