I made a custom Urxen champion because the Urxen traits intrigued me, and I chose the background that Magnar uses (the fiery lava burnt and blackened land) for my character. With the update adding Kulan, my champions's background was changed to the cathedral-looking background that Kulan uses. By comparison, my custom New Pariden sovereign still uses the same background as Lord Relias. Not really related but also cosmetic: If I have a custom champion use the mage stance, then he o

While it is random, starts like that are really undesirable and put the civ that gets it - player or AI - at a severe and sometimes insurmountable disadvantage.
Hopefully that gets fixed. I always find it silly when my archers all get immobilized while my warg-riding bastards tear up the bad guys. Also, what Parrottmath said. Penalty to ranged weapons or initiative or something would be a useful change.
I kind of assumed that tireless march not applying on the first turn out of a city (or technically, the first turn joining a hero) was working as intended, due to the units effectively joining the champion's or sovereign's army that turn.
Yeah, I've ended up fighting wildland monsters (not bosses) in every game I've played. Seemed to be normal behavior as addressed earlier in this thread.
I've noticed a few squares like this on the city maps. It's frustrating as it often prevents lining up spears or axes properly and it seems utterly arbitrary.
I was not trying to move onto a tile occupied by someone else's city. I moved to a tile adjacent to the city, which was under fog of war. The tile I moved to was not under fog of war. The game didn't treat it like they've stopped. I couldn't move the army anywhere else without saving and reloading.
I've managed to do this twice: If I move an army adjacent to a city that is still in fog of war, the unit runs in place and is completely nonresponsive. The fog of war doesn't clear, either. I can correct this by saving and reloading. I have tried clicking the turn button, but I have not tried moving a second unit to reveal the city.
Oh, nice. Weirdly, my angel sovereign actually equipped the pony, and unequipped it when I clicked to unequip. It only disappeared when I tried to equip it on another champion.
I like this mod - it was nice in E:WoM and I finally gave it a go in FE, and lots of fun. I had one issue, though. I did the quest for a pony. When I got it, I tried to trade and equip from my angelic sovereign to my angelic champion (Gahan, I think) and the pony vanished.
As it turns out, I don't have a relevant game - the "end of summer" or whatever its called was just blending into the scenery. Go figure. One day - one day - I shall have a real problem to report.
If you want to complain just for the sake of complaining, there's always twitter.
It's hardly been a history of cutting and running. There were many reasons why the patch effort for GC2 TotA went dead, among them the migration to Windows 7, which didn't support the older version of Visual Studio used to make GC2. You can blame Microsoft for that one. Stupid program incompatibility. *kicks Microsoft* Early adopters of Elemental for FE for free, others got a discount. That's
Thanks.
Kestral, how would one get you a save/debug file? I may have a relevant game.
I doubt Brad would offer an answer if he didn't know what was up. Given his rather unique position (being both above and below Paxton in rank) he probably has access to any information he needs, self-imposed exile or not. I suspect the month of silence has to do with the Legendary Heroes beta. I have participated in past betas as well as participated on the forum during other betas, and it seems to me that a lot of effort goes toward the beta/release, and once they can manage it t
I can't reproduce the problem, thankfully. All is fine here. Given something that happened this morning on Skype (clicking on conversations made them hidden) I think that my keyboard needs to be replaced, and that may be the actual cause of what I reported above.
Thanks for the tip. I wasn't double clicking that I recall, but I'll check it out again.
After I downloaded .75, I started a new game as Ceresa. I started the game with "manually place improvements" selected, but whenever I build an improvement it is automatically placed. I have not yet tried to start another game to see if this continues to be the case.
Ah. okay.
Also, not related: I have killed the Magnar sovereign twice in this game and no "Defeated Sovereign in battle" achievement.
I loaded a save, finished a tech shortly thereafter (Heroes, I think it's called) and went to select a new tech: I moved the tech tree and the text did not move along with it. I exited the tech tree and opened it again and the text had vanished entirely.
Good stuff. Interesting to see that Elemental is indeed the Altarian's distant past or something very much like it.
I have been having this issue. I have attempted to download and install twice. I am not sure what I could do to correct this.
Honestly I can't stand girls/women who go out of their way to make it known they are female when playing games online. They are almost as bad as the guys who go crazy over them as if the game is for picking up a date.
Oh really? So a woman who says she's a woman is doing what exactly that men don't do when they say they're men?I've seen guys call women "attention whores" (elsewhere, not here) for saying we're women in th
