Agreed. Earlier today I thought I was getting tribute from puny Gildar, when in fact I was paying them; and they were the weakest player in the game [e digicons]8(|[/e]

It lets that unit and any units in its army walk anywhere (water, mountains, you name it).
Okay okay okay. Enough already! I'll make at least one quest this weekend. Sheesh...
I’m thinking about coding in a power based trigger
Don't just think this. DO IT PLEASE IT WOULD BE AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!!!!
Just figured it out. I had earlier set the scout to explore. Would be nice if setting a destination for a unit in explore mode would either cancel exploration, or suspend it until the player-specified destination was reached.
I also occasionally have this problem. Worse than beta3, but still better than beta1/2.
My scout (the only scout for Resoln) was selected, and I ordered it to take the monument just north-east of Hagudst. The scout was no more than three tiles away, but the path it is taking...is extreme.

Stardock, I love y'all. I love the way you operate. Checked Elemental on Steam and saw a release date months earlier than what I had anticipated (I was honestly thinking first quarter 2013; Dec 2012 at the earliest). As soon as I get to work today, I'm taking 16 Oct off. And probably 17 Oct. Also, I'll probably buy E:FE on Steam GamersGate , just as a vote of confidence for the
A patch on Tuesday?!?! I should have checked the forums hours ago!
Here's to hoping one day I no longer have to name cities "Sprocketon", "Bookopolis", or "Gildarville" to know what they're supposed to do :)
See line 8104. Auto resolved combat (only one air shrill. My army has attack rating of 100+). Maybe it's something with Air Shrills, as this is the second time I've noticed this...
While playing FE tonight (aside from bugs, pretty stable on my system), I thought about this post, and Dominions 3 may just be your type of game Darkehound. Lots of things to choose from, though the level of micromanagement is just a tad much for my liking. Just a thought.
See line 3159 onward.
I see beta releases all the time on Steam. If anything, it helps the game, not hurt it. You get a wider range of critiques, wider hardware base; why wouldn't you put a beta on Steam/GG/Impulse? It can only help. Just my two cents. I think it's still too early for the level of angst expressed in this thread.
Lots of good ideas mentioned already. Agree with keeping Elemental in title. I'm sure the next Master of Orion will be Master of Orion, in spite of MOO3 :) Like that you're publishing on Steam. Can only mean more exposure and potential revenue. Bring on the modding! I know I said somewhere I wouldn't bother changing XML elements...but if I'm working on my own mod, that's different! Additional features: will probably make se

Gave it a good. Headed in the right direction. Still a little buggy, but I've paid for worse. Keep pushing development, there may be a classic here.
The best thing to do is have people like Napean mod away features that are too complicated. Let him delete hundreds of lines of xml, instead of asking me to write them.
I will be honest, I probably would not take the effort to delete even one element of XML from a purchased product. My own projects demand too much of that from me :) I would probably buy a tactical battle DLC; not out of any deep need for
I would like there to be terrain bonuses but there is concern that this could make tactical battles tedious for those (the vast majority) who don't care that much
Thank you FB. I am one for whom tactical is not that big of a thing. Tactical battles should be short and to the point, ala Endless Space (and even those are a little long/slow at times with the animations). My FE battles should not require a
I can hardly wait as well. I honestly thought about taking a vacation day this week...but I didn't...and now it's too late. Looking forward to Beta4 and the success of FE!
DLC's for TBS games? Is that how it is now
Yes,I think so. I don't really mind so long as the content improves the game. To me, there's not much difference between buying six DLC's that provide incremental change to a title, or buying a $30 expansion. So long as the quality of the title is improved. For Warlock, the excitement around it right now is from the FREE pat
Glad to see y'all are taking your time. Yeah, it's painful to wait...but there are other games in the meantime :) Alot's already been said, so just keep up the good work.
A day or two ago Steam starts hogging my bandwith; a 200MB patch for Warlock was being downloaded. I take a few moments to read the cchange log: improved diplomacy, AI...Lords!...Artifacts! I'm about 50 turns into a new game, and the improvements are stupendous. The interface has been juiced a bit as well. There's a Perk arrow and Upgrade arrow on units now (maybe it was always there, but I hadn't noticed those things in 50 hours of gameplay - thanks Stea
