Same issue I've reported on - a couple of times - previously. I had hoped that a 3 gig download would put this to rest, but the bug is still there. Please take a look at this. At one point there were a couple of others with the same issue. I've included links to the previous posts for convenience. https://forums.elementalgame.com/434704 <a href="https://forums.elementalgame.com/43672

Alt-tabbed back into game, and clicking army hud icon did zoom to army...maybe there's an alt-tab issue. I have been alt-tabbing a lot (screenshots and whatnot)
Clicking an army's HUD icon does not zoom to the army. The game does select the army, it just doesn't zoom to it. Clicking army hud image should zoom to army, even if army is currently selected. <span style="text-decoration: line-th
Just had a small battle where my Sand Golem used his bash ability and became dazed. He then participated (at least visually) in swarm attack on another opponent.
I didn't even know Aow3 was in the works! I'm all for getting both. I like Elemental, but I have an established history with AoW1/2/SM. As others have pointed out, different game mechanics. It just depends on what you're looking for. At present, I think AoW still has Elemenatl beat for "epicness", but that may be due to it being an established franchise. Who can forget the final battle in the Valley of Wonders in AoW1? Or the subjugation of
Double post.
Wow, any angst in the room? Happy Holidays everyone.
Glad to hear all is well @ SD, and am looking forward to 1.1. Just making a plug for a bug fix that is bugging me to death. Wasn't a problem in the beta, but ever since launch it has plagued the game. See the posts I've already made. A few others indicate a similar problem in their sessions: https://forums.elementalgame.com/434704 <a href="https://forums.elementalgame.com/43672
Got this as result of Steam Sale. Absolutely fantastic gaming experience. The dynamics between all the vassals makes my head hurt. Trying to master keeping them all weak and politicking each other instead of me. This one and all the DLC will keep me busy for years to come. Dynamite game here.
Welcome aboard! It really is quite a gaming experience. Just to update: I'v
I saw it, went to buy it, and realized that I wouldn't play it. It's an amazing game, I'm sure, but I just don't have the hours needed to actually enjoy it. Maybe at the next sale?
What the heck?!?!?!?!? All of this waitin' and anticipatin', and you claim to have better things to do than pour hours of your life into a video game? Some people.... In all serio
Hi i have exactly the same problem even with 1.02 version No solution yet?
Nothing yet. I'm suspecting maybe 1.1 will fix it... This has honestly turned me away from the game to an extent...well that, and my indie game binge right now :) But seriously, it's hard to play a game with a problem that wasn't present in the beta. That said, I have ever
Just loaded the game this morning, bug is still there. Submitted new bug report, we'll see if something comes of it this time around.
This is the same bug reported just after launch here . To date, no responses or fixes (not even a "sorry, we can't fix that"). This was not an issue during the beta. The issue is the same, see the Dropbox link. Any feedback would be welcome. EDIT: Just spun up 1.02, and the bug is still there...but the game loaded WAY faster! Good job on performance fix. Yes, I started
As for the new DLC, Sunset Invasion, I'm getting it. This type of scenario is exactly why I play P'dox titles: what if... I won't play every game with it on, of course, but it is a nice change of pace. Like a scenario mod.
For those who were waiting for a CK2 sale, head over to GamersGate; up to 75% off the series.
Have been offline for a while. Will give 1.01 a spin in the coming days to test.
@OP: You're right, there's still balancing that needs to be done, but there's also PLENTY of fun to be had out of the game as-is. Just tweak your session settings. I did it all the time with Majesty 1; playing Goblin Rush sessions was always a blast! Hope your new session is enjoyable. I finally managed a win with Resoln (doesn't happen often). Took just under 400 turns.
Just pointing out a bug that wasn't in 0.982, but has plagued me (and a few others) since launch. Just checking to see if it will be addressed in 1.01, or if it will take further work... <a href="https://fo
Generally speaking, I'll start a new game rather than load and replay.
Ditto.
I used to have the same problem, until I started playing aggressively. Start building your army early, or expect to get lapped. Having a solid offensive force makes further expansion and defense possible.
Another good review. This is going well so far! Not likely to see any troll reviews; no blood in the water, no sharks :) Much better than MoO3 and WoM. Good job on this launch SD! Side Note Is that our Seanw3 posting at the end of the article? If so, good looking out! Remind that disgruntled poster that if he bought WoM, he gets Fe free, or discounted (depending on when he opted in).
Haven't seen anything posted yet, but I'm sure Stardock has taken notice. Haven't seen anything in the 1.01 changelog yet :(
Soulless doesn't refer to the quality of the lore, but to the lack of player engagement with that lore. As an example of "soulful" gaming, consider the times you've played an Elder Scrolls game and have recovered some ancient, storied artifact/spell; at that moment the lore is no longer just blocks of text, but is substantiated in game terms. Or think of any LotR game ever released; getting to claim relics from the first and second ages of Middle-Earth connect you, in ga
I dislike his comments on the writing. I read a lot of fantasy and play a lot of games and found the writing to be better then average, although some of his other criticisms about balance were accurate.
Completely agree. No, the writing is not at the level of LeGuin (THE best fantasy writer ever, bar none), but it's comparable to what you get from fantasy writers nowadays.
Yes, it definitely has something to do with champions and trained units. I just made Nochd Nightbringer a separate army, and I go the green-hued box in the army HUD. Ceresa's army HUD image is okay, but the champion's isn't. Still not sure what this has to do with missing unit icons on the build screen though...
