That looks great.
Songhai, or however is spelled, was a Western African Civ. I suppose you might discount it because it was Muslim, but I think it counts. I haven't tired multiplayer yet, but Civ 4 was TERRIBLE for people dropping the game whenever they had a bad few turns. I don't think I had a single game where someone didn't drop out. Come on, lets give him the attention he needs.
blah blah blah, there are about 50 other posts saying the same thing...got your attention, now see ya. Christ need attention much?
Hmm is it just me or are there no African nations at all to choose from? Zulus? The game is pretty good...very simplistic compared to the older versions it seems as well.
Oh come on, they can say it uses art assets from the game, which it does. You have no case and this is spiteful beyond belief.

every day a new one of these, getting boring now.
Thread is stupid.
Unless you're charging $30 for these, they're patches, not expansions. I still expect two free $30 expansions as an apology for this disaster of a game, the fact that I can't return it to you because I chose to buy from Amazon, and my general feeling of wasting $70.
My god, get over yourself. All these posts like this you keep putting all over the place help noone.
calling people liars is not being a critic. Also, stating the same things in your multiple posts is not constructive, it gets to the point of being distructive. Every time they post something a comment you didn't listen to us last time is not helpful. Feel free to post it as it is your right, don't feel attacked if it is someones perception of what is going on.
Quoting Frogboy, reply 129 Just for the record, I read this thread about twice a day with my engineeringbnotebook open with pen to writevdown various concepts proposed and think about how they would work in the engine and how well theydvinteract with other concepts. I seriously hope this is a joke...
I have to laugh at this, if you are that jad
That does look really good...I wouldn't think that would be hard to put in either.
Looks good, would like the new combat system sooner, but oh well.

Definatly something worth steal...er....borrowing Really? Because I remember campaigning strongly for big sexy tooltips during the beta only to be shut down by Brad when he said (paraphrasing) "I don't want to have to move my mouse around to get information." <b
Why don't some of you focus on moving forward then whining about what they did or didn't, getting petty now. Can't move forward if you have to continue to dwell on the past. Dungeons were originally planned but they had to scrap them during design, Frogboy has stated that he still wants to add dungeons to the game at a later date.
It is frustrating. By that I mean these sorts of features never seem to make it into the product until the last "expansion". Which means you don't get the real game unless you patiently wait for all the expansions to come out. You'd might as well wait for them to be in a pack. And by then the modders will begin to take the game seriously and put out some great mods too. [Remember GC2 having no death stars until the las
Welcome back:) Interested to hear whats coming in the next couple weeks.

Civ IV I bought from the bargain bin and it was even worse. You even could not raze cities that did not fit in your scheme. In one of the game setup options is the ability to raze cities or not. Apparently you didnt spend much time with Civ IV. <br /
I think it is lookin good so far. I'm excited to see where it is going.
Um...it's not a RTS.
Those look great John...nice detail.
I think the game is fun, it needs a lot of work. But no where near where some of these "people" think it is. It really needs content.
So a troll jumps in with a review of another game, and this is what it generates...awesome.
What is the purpose of this thread?
