Real nice bunch of improvements here. I was hoping for a spell of making update. Nice to see that's a factor in the game now and not just an easy escape to victory for the player. Still a warning or gang up system would be welcome. Like the tile changes and the bigger difference between towns, conclaves an fortresses.

Managed to play a bit further in my game today. Things I noticed: - There seems to be a problem between your mod and the large UI mod made by Heavenfall. The magic synergy you implemented doesn't scale in the large UI mod so that text goes on top of other text. I uninstalled the large UI mod and now things are fine. - (Some of) the descriptions of the traits you choose after getting path of the mage seem to have dots (.) in front of the text. Just started my first 1.2 vanilla game with Rise of the Magi installed, playing as Gilden. Thusfar it seems to be very interesting. I'm loving the new 'basic' spells. Adds a lot of flavour to the magic part of the game. Just started the game and I don't have much time to continue it soon this week, but will keep you posted.

Yep, I raised the topic during beta , but sadly nothing has changed thusfar. Some good suggestions there, hope the devs take notice of both topics.
Just do what you think is best and don't rush things. Stormworld compatibility would be a big plus of course, but I'm playing vanilla too.

Looking forward to getting whipped by the AI this weekend. My record on hard is getting dramatic with Stormworld. I'm dropping to challenging to see what the improved AI is capable of.

Just a heads up to let you know I LOVE the new monsters you're adding Hf. Some need a little balance check after release (like the faeries just got) but they add so much extra flavour! Fought some Darkwasps yesterday and they mean business, but seem to be nicely balanced. For some reason I don't seem to be able to win my games on hard anymore (may very well be my own crappy play) whereas I won over 50 percent of my games on hard in vanilla FE. I love it though!
Nice initiative parrottmath, gonna try this out tonight in combination with Stormworld. Summoning is very underwhelming in the core game and I love to use summoning wizards in my fantasy games.

The cute guys were with 4 in my game. Making up for a marked 'deadly' stack and killing my sov, hero, two militia and defender easily from a distance.
You're probably right but by early in the game I mean almost next to my capital and they DO chase me, so no time to get archery, but probably just bad luck. I do like the look of them though. :)

Whoa those fearies mean business. Are they intended to be that deadly Hf? I met a deadly stack very early on in the game and thanks to their ranged attack combined with high initiative they are really evil! Evil I say!
