1up gave them 60 or something, which is a fail in my book but aparently thats passing in the US schools these days.
pmaura
dont forget nose rings, nipple rings toe rings. etc. no reason what so ever to build scout towers just add another ring.

I disagree. Elemental aims to add RPG attributed to a TBS. Purchasing equipment for heroes, going on quests and the marriage system, all combined, ma
for some reason I thought someone was developing a persisten tbs game
was wondering are there any othere rts or tbs strategy games coming out in the future.
Would be interesting if only certain creatures spawned in certain areas, scorpions in deserts, ogres in forest, ice trolls in tundra. Giant Spiders in Jungle. Of course would require more tile sets, and more creatures just a random thought there.
yeah i feel like this pretty much sums up elemental's combat. i personally vote for more depth, but this may not be what the designers intended.
The said thing is I think your right, they have no intention of creating depth to the combat. Oh well guess can wait for another 10 years make age of wonders 3
ahh thats what I was wondering, so within 5 of a city so that the city can link to it then
What made galactic civilizations, baldurs gate good is that they were good games from the start. there sequels didnt back track. Elemental is not a genre breaking game and when you are going to make a game in a specific genre such as 4x civ game, you look at whats conisdered the current bench mark and then decide to either copy or expand not retract. make no mistakes, when looking at this game you should look at masters of magic and age of wonders and civilization. all those games had
were not asking for Elemental Total War, were just asking for something equivalent to mom and aow. in fact it was stated that Elemental wanted to emulate mom tactical battles but that cant be done with units that are all the same and just have 3 stats, attack defense hit poitns
I noticed that some resources were withing my range of influence but when I built them up they did not add anything. is there s range from the city they have to be>?
just want to add fortress is a late game tech as well
why they have the short bow is beyong me who uses it
you have to reasearch fortress, this I think is super stupid that an army doesnt know how to raze a city, but if you capture and empire city you can build your improvements on top of there dbling the cities production. this has to be an exploit through
late game defiantly I was hoping the 1.06 patch helped against that
wait so if I capture en empire city I get all of its bonus from its unique buildings on top of all the ones I can build? I just dont like the entire borg immediate assimilation. thing either. I swear very little effort was put into warfare design. I mean come on, we cant raze a city till we research it, what kind of shit is that. Well my soldiers can maim and kill and rape and pillage but we just dont know how to light a building on fire.
do summoned creatures have mainetance atached to them or do enchantments you cast on cities? Just wondering because if they dont why would you ever cancel them
Ok where and why do they spawn, once your area of influence grows should that stop them spawning in it?
so perfermance is still bad with the latest patch?
int vs defense is horrible, theres no items that boost Inteligence for one and its means there no real reason to sepcialize in different magic schools, chainlighting is like fireball whichi s like ice bolt. I would like to knwo that cold spells on fire based creatures did more damage and that fire cretures were immune to fire spells
Quoting pmaura, reply 1 ok if you actually played masters of magic that would mean your atleast 30 so you should have enough brain power to figure stuff out. right now the tactical battles are super simple, posess zero challenge. its not even close to the games strong suit its its weakest link. Listen, this is a turn based strategy game. You're lucky that there's tac
good luck I dont think they have any ideas of changin the tactical battles. They need to add magic resitances as well. but so far all special abilties are tied to mana as well and if they did add these things I pray to god we ahve a way of knowing about it since in game documetation is poor. for example I have heard rumors helmets block blunt damage, but thats just a rumor, but it sounds like they have different resitances already in the game but no documentation for it.

mounts are uselss anyway its easier to use magic to boost your speed and its not like they give your a charge or attack bonus. tactic battles in this game is stupidly simple. not even sure why they added it.
begining to mid game, everything is fine, but late game lika 180+ turns game slows toa crawl with tons of crashes anyone else have this.
