#9 A spell claster class, come on, I can be a warrior, assasin and thief but not an Arch Mage?

I agree hole heartidly that spells should be readressed, but at the same time, it looks like if you just choose summoner as a spell book, you wont be able to summon much becuase it needs to be combined with fire mastery to get the fire giant. So I am wondering if there are other combos out there.

well mana regeneration is fine, because spells are super power ful

ahh, this was a bitch for me too, you have to look for a verys specifi spot on the coast that has a small ramp heading down to a beach. They need flesh out the martime thing as well. would be nice to have ocean trade routes.

1. Attacks of oportunities, seriosuly how was this left out, a unit can just withdrawl from battle or move around me with impunity? 2. Withdrawing from battle as far as I can tell you cant. 3. Horses need to convey an attack advantage as well, maye a first strike bonus. Hell spears should have more then one type and do more damaged to mounted attackers. 4. I have same issues, none of the spells are showing anything, lighting ice shard, arrows etc.

Are there actually any differences in units in different factions? Or is just a reskinned human? I notice one faction has death magic, but what does that mean?

yep the defense is whats used for spell resistance as well. so ice trolls can get damaged by cold spells just as easily as fire.

no fire shards only help fire spells, but rememebr there are no reistances in this game so tehres no point in getting air and fire spells as ice spells will damage ice creatures just as much as fire one will

well I am not suprised there are no flying units as there are no special abilities for units in general, whats up with just giving every unit man so that they can then cast the same spells as the caster. I have spiders that can cast blizzard but they suck becuase they have hardly any intellgecne. they dropped the ball with unit design.

I dont believe there were time line pressures, i recently read that they expected to spend 5million to develop the game and instead they spent half that. I see the result, a game that has very little fantasy in it, no documention and a super simplistic comabt system. I really dont like how spiders that join my side can cast all the spells I can, and that an ice bolt does damage to a ice elemental?

thats my point, is that units are stupid, why give them mana if there inteligence is so damn low its doenst do any damage , and why is a fire giant casting blizzard? As of now I see no reason to play any of the other factions as they all look the exact same, theres not unit differeation there are not special defensive capabilities. I have realized that almost every unit is the same except with there defense and attack and hp. no life drain, fire attcks, spiders poisonion troops. I did have a spider I controlled that could use 1 mana but dont have anything that costs one mana. My fire giants cast blizzard. and there are not special weakness, such as a fire giant being immune to fire but vulnerbale to ice attacks. no throwing of spears, fire guns, etc. all units the same.

1. How do you increase the size of a city, is by having more food make you get different level cities? 2. What is world research? 3. Heros kind of suck unless there spell casters 4. How fast should one expand . and for that matter how do you use caravans

well the maps are random I thought atleast it is seeded randomly and you start in different locations. I am actuall ok with this type of randomization

Agree until I can play an undead king, AOW is still my favorite, but at the same time, I am only at 85% download right now so who knows by this afternoon I might disagree

well as long as 90% of your gripes is there is no manual and poor documentation, and we can ask on the forums everything should be fine
