I play on difficult, and the monsters certainly stay away from the AI. I don't really mind that the AI "cheats", but it's just a clumsy way to go about it, and it detracts from the rest of the game. I still love the game and will continue playing it--into the wee hours of the dawn--but the OP is right, the monsters don't attack AI much on harder difficulties.
So you're saying that the level 5 conclave upgrade (earth something) provides 30% unrest faction wide? I could have sworn that the bonus applied only to the host city. This changes a lo
^ Actually I used to get a very similar, if not identical crash. Switching to the hardware mouse cursor helped me immensely, and I only crash now if I alt+tab the game after about 30 minutes of play (the infamous "DX Error: Invalid Call" crash many people have been getting with this game since the beginning of Elemental:WoM). Without ever alt+tabbing, I now pretty much get zero crashes -- a claim I couldn't make back in the E
Is anyone else dealing with frequent crashes? It happens to me quite often: the mouse icon will change to the hourglass, but it will freeze there. Eventually, if I click anywhere, I'll get an error message saying that the program has stopped responding. Any suggestions? This has happened since I first bought the game a few months back.

I usually "CTR+K" neutral/enemy pioneers in my lands. It's too annoying to chase them down.
A few quick suggestions: 1. "Deeper" Diplomacy 2. More custom maps 3. Another campaign/storyline I'd be happy paying for the latter two items. The first one should probably just be part of a general AI update or something. All told, this game is wonderful and I'm really glad I happened across it. I will gladly throw my money at Stardock for future games and DLC. Thanks!
Update: I reinstalled everything and the problem went away. Thank you, everyone, for all the help.
Yeah, this sounds like the immersion mod wasn't installed correctly.
If the choice is between a fault in the mod or a mistake that I made installing said mod, you would be wise to bet on the latter. I'll probably uninstall/reinstall the game and all the mods and try again. Side note: I saw that there was a mod manager on Nexus for FE:LH. Is this worthwhile? I used one for Skyrim all the time, but there are a
It might actually be giving you double the benefit to, i.e. it could be more than a cosmetic issue. Regardless it's not "normal behavior" even for a mod. I'd suggest you move this thread out of LH Support (because Stardock won't help in any case if you have mod's installed). If you move this over to the LH Modding section you'll probably get feedback from the guys who created the mods. I think
You would need to find the code doing the descriptions and remove one of them. Try searching for lumberyard and governor in the xml files who seems appropriate (buildings etc.). If you remove the *** line it should probably work without doing anything else to the mods.
Looks like mod interference to me. You can't "clean" the old stuff from the mod folder, so if you have something modifying those buildings/traits there, you would get double, like you see here.
That makes sense. Thank you for the information. Is there anything I can do to remove the double text? Or is this just a common occurrence when using mods?
Hello, I've recently installed Children of the Storm, the snaking mod, and an immersion mod (that plays well with Children of the Storm). However, I've noticed that in some cases there will be extra text over an item, building, unit, or spell's description. For example, if I mouse over the lumberyard, it will say something along the lines of: Lumberyard +2 production +2 production Or, in the case of a skill increase: Administrator</p
I've had the exact same bug about 5 times. It usually occurs after playing 30minutes and only until the mid game (i have 13 midlvl cities and 8 enemy A.I.s). Makes the game sadly unplayable, i can save while the bug appears but i have to close the program manually and restart, then reload. Every time. I supect it has something to do with the excessive memory usage by LH, since it did not occur

He's not quite as cool as Ascian, but a ton of firepower. I just did that last night. Unfortunately, he doesn't level up at all. In fact, I think he's the only unit I've encountered that doesn't receive XP. Is this a bug, or working as intended?
In my most recent game, I built a city right next to that giant worm guy. Eventually, the city grew so much that it overtook him. So now I have this huge worm thing in my castle haha and I can't attack him b/c my units just go into the city when I click on him. For some reason he just won't attack. Maybe he just likes his new home?
My sovereign is almost always a mage and my first hero is almost always a commander. I always choose the research and gildar skills--although I'm not sure if the +1 research/gildar traits stack. For example, if I have the +1 and +2 gildar per turn traits, do I get a total of +3 gildar from the hero every turn? Same with research.
Why not just que up a bunch of buildings at once? It lowers the time spent clicking around the city.
@ Lord Michael. Thank you! I swear, I looked at the advanced options but didn't see it. I'm playing Legendary Heroes if that matters (not sure if the options are different).
Hello, First off, I'd like to say that while this is my first post, I did Google around and peeked into the sticky threads here looking for information, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. I recently bought Fallen Enchantress Legendary Heroes and I have a few questions about the game mechanics. Having played many turn based games before (Civ & XCom for example) I was thrilled to find that FE is such a deep and enjoyable game. However, during my first few pl
