Ok, thanks for the update.
UnleashedElf
$20 - sold. How will the units distinguish themselves with no unit design?
So will this make Sarog standard, Primal?
Is this compatible with the latest 1.6 patch? Edit: Should I just try Blood & Mana instead?
Old thread, but yeah I think that may be the only thing that works. Somewhat OT, but I guess it may be worth looking at making an "immune to diplomacy" ability for the future.
Question, Sins Rebellion just got updated to 1.82 - is the R7 version compatible?
What I want to see are spells that require some degree of coding and effects - not just simple XML stuff. I don't have specifics, but it's what I'd like to see. The reason why the Leaders Pack DLC got such a big backlash was the perceived lack of effort on Stardock's part and after getting it on the 50% sale, I'm inclined to agree that it was not what we as a community felt was well ... fair. The thing I would like to see the m
lol, dude not wanting to rant but the OP sounds like a butthurt child, the only "troll" i can see is you and your insulting comment about another game and their developers. grow up kid. ...BUT... FE:LH has more and diverse quests, a bigger focus on civ-like features like your towns and the expansion of your civilization. customization is also a huge selling point in FE:LH, a decent diplomacy system rounds th
I'd rather not go into comparing like that. The AOW3 budget > WOM + FE + LH + GalCiv III. To put things in perspective, the WOM team was 6 people. Total. I don't think AOW 3 and LH are that similar. AOW and Warlock are more comparable.
It is an apples to oranges comparison, but seeing that other people were doing so on this thread, I decided to jump in too. Triumph's gamble here
On the whole, let's not forget that this game has just been released. A fairer comparison would be to Elemental - War of Magic, not the current Legendary Heroes, which many people seem to be doing. They've said on their forums that they are going to be releasing expansions and updates too, so we'll wait and see how that goes. Considering that this game is just released, it's not in a bad state at all - balance needs a bit of work, but largely ok. As it stands tho
You could also cast the spell that levels up your units regularly.
I do not know of anyway of doing this... it is a tedious way to build roads to say the least. I don't think there is an auto-cast button whenever one moves from a spot to another.
Yeah it's a seriously annoying problem at this point.
For units that can build roads (ex: commanders), is there a way to automatically build roads rather than moving 1 square and clicking road?
- Empiric Victory (first to get 10 cities to level 5)
You would need to scale it for the map size. Having later factions spawn is an option - they should be scaled though to match the user's strength.
Yeah I like the approach from Civ IV and Alpha Centauri.
Anyone paying attention to Warlock 2? It seems like an incremental upgrade to Warlock 1. New combat mechanics, a couple of new races, and a few other features.
Ah. The only way I've gotten a ton of exp was in a very long game. You spam that spell that gives your units 1 level up every time it charges.
Lol - 7000 hp army. That must mean ~800hp per unit? Monstrous trait?
What is the highest level of henchmen or champion that you've ever had in the game? How did it get so high? Did you unlock all the perks for a "path"?
Ok thanks guys - will check out the female henchmen mod.
Thanks for the mod, Primal. Is there any way we could get the devs to include this in the main game?
Great answer joeball. I'd say then that against armored targets, the assassin would probably do better simply due to the armor penetration. The other issue of course is survivability. Assassins can dodge, but warriors can later on be equipped with champions plate (although expensive).
Is there anyway to make a champion so that it cannot equip items and cannot ride a mount?
At higher difficulties, do you find warriors to be any good as archers? How do they stand up against assassins?
Although I don't know about mages. They might have insane magic resist. And their initiative is boosted so high with savant trait allowing them to instant cast blizzard very early at beginning of battles when most of the soldiers is still clustered up. And to the date, I only know of one mage that can equip plate, he's an alliance hero named Sir Kodrin something and he have a follower. He's a life mage. Although That plate chest armor
