The simplest solution would be to give other races the road building trait like Mancers have, but for other races it has a 100 labor cost. Automatic road building's still in, but the manual option is there for other races, but at a cost. That said, what I hate most about this thread is the title. The title is meant to let people know why they're coming in here.

As many threads as there are about this problem, I'm surprised it hasn't been fixed yet, either through canceling Explore on manual movement, highlighting the Explore button when it's on, or removing the useless Explore feature altogether.

The Summoner tree is great, but I wouldn't take the Summoner trait. The Shadow Warg is only good very early game, and +2 levels to summons just aren't that great. It's certainly a much better trait in LH than it was in FE, what with getting the ability to summon things being an uncertainty in FE. Still, I don't feel like there's a significant enough bonus. +4 HP, +2 accuracy, +2 spell resist, and... that's about it. Even when summ

A lot of bugs are hard to reproduce because the game doesn't use a consistent random seed. They really should, though, at least for the beta. While I do think the regular game would benefit, it would also make reproducing bugs a LOT easier.

Actually, I've seen a bug with Pioneers in the queue. If you have Pioneers in the queue and the population goes past the level-up mark, then you cancel the pioneers (not right away), the town will think it's already leveled up and will have the higher level, but it won't upgrade. I haven't reported it as a bug yet because I haven't been able to reproduce it reliably, so I can't provide exact steps, but that may be what's happened.

I don't think it would be easy to implement. I also wouldn't consider it a critical change. I mean, most of the time, I don't care if non-hostiles are within my borders. If they declare war, they get kicked out and have to come in again. I'd call it more of a "would be nice for some players" functionality.

In my diplomacy victory, I just paid every faction for an Alliance. If I was more powerful than them, I'd first sell them a non-aggression pact to get some money, then I'd turn around and give some of that money back to them for the alliance. It actually seemed kind of lame that I went from nowhere near victory to winning in one turn. This was in FE, though. I haven't tried it again in LH.

I'm fairly certain that they wander without being disturbed by anyone. I've had a map where the wildlands were isolated by my faction, so no one could get in without going through my cities. I didn't go in. They still came out and started wrecking cities, one by one, until they were all gone. I quit the game before season 50 because I'd lost 3 cities. I can't stop those armies at that level. It's not just discouraging for ne

The game calculates in the counter-intuitive manner of 15+20+25 (60%). When you have Potential III, it tells you that you just have Potential III, and you are getting 25%, however, if you were to gain 100 XP from something, you would gain an additional 60 XP on top of it. Contrary to FuzzyGold's math, what it means when they stack is that you add the percentile bonuses together before applying them. The way they are presented, you would think that they don't stack,

Sweatyboatman is right. These things should have the option to come back to them later. That would solve the city level up problem of "I don't know which city this is I'm leveling up." What, I'm going to remember the weird name it gave it? Sure, I could rename my cities, but even if I did, that wouldn't help much in my decision making.

In Civilization games you can trade maps like currency with the other players. I'd like to (eventually) see that in LH. That would be one more thing for diplomacy. In the last game I finished (not won, just finished), Resoln showed up on my factions list when she started casting the spell of making. And there was nothing I could do about it because I didn't know where she was. I mean, I did pay everyone I could to declare war on her, but it apparently w

Usually when I see it it's a 500+ HP army, but I think this guy is strong enough to wipe out my city that he's about to attack. There are no cleared wildlands in this game, AFAIK. http://darkseam.com/fe/When_Wildlands_Attack.EleSav Okay, so he doesn't attack the city every turn. When you load the game, it should center on my sovereign. The city closest to him has a Naja Army inside

The best change would be to not allow creatures to cast spells infinitely. Players can't do it. While giving monsters a mana pool would allow for some other really cool stuff (Drain Mana and Mana Burn come to mind), that might be tough to program (or easy, I really don't know), so maybe just limiting how many times they can cast each spell that is at their disposal. That said, I'm not sure that Spell Leech shouldn't have a cooldown, anyway.

Can it be added to the description? Otherwise, people new to the game are going to be very confused. There's already enough stuff to confuse them. Maybe also add something to the flavor text. "Cleric's channel the essence of the city to provide healing..." Actually, maybe add the requirement to all descriptions You've got Provides now, then under that you could add Requires or Upgrades From</

I've seen the running in place, but I've seen it when trying to move onto a tile that's occupied by someone's else's city. As far as I can tell, the game's treating it like they've stopped, it just continues playing the animation. I've noticed this even without the fog of war.

They could replace the Champion HUD option with the Faction HUD option, since the Champion HUD icon isn't used anymore. I agree that they should all be options. Different people want different things, and allowing people to customize their interface is a good thing.
I have a better idea! Instead of removing heroes, what about fixing them? Problems are solved, not avoided.
This, indeed. Honestly, I rarely set my heroes to level up as Assassin, Defender, or Warrior. They've made Warrior better, and Defender will be better in the next patch, but really, why would I want a hero that doesn't cast spells or augment my troops? I know that the basic spell tree

When you settle a city, it takes away the yields 6 tiles around it. Used to be 5. That would be the great limiter, not how close you can build improvements. Reducing the distance between cities' improvements to 2 tiles just means it's easier to close the ZoC gap between cities since you don't need to build a monument or town hall in order to do so, now. It doesn't mean you'll be able to have more cities.
