It's certainly not worth 2 points while it doesn't work.

None of these are game breakers, just minor annoyances. - The pickax HUD icon doesn't always disappear from a resource after having maxed out its construction. It also doesn't always reappear when an upgrade becomes available. - Typing in a gildar number changes the perceived value of a trade dramatically more than the number entered, while clicking the
Yeah, I expected my cities to get attacked since it just says that monsters won't attack units. The main reason I went with Stealth was so I could safely get my Pioneers to the target settlement without needing an escort. Having my other units not getting attacked just helps get around the map faster.
I checked Gildenshard (I'm assuming that's the one you captured) and found a whole bunch of units. Bruno, Ruah, Panca Archers, Grave Elemental, Bound Widow, Bound Widow, Diruna, Warrior, and Young Burning Wraith. I can also select the caravan that seems to be passing through by clicking the mid-left tile. If you click on it and then click on it again, it will select the city and you can see the units. If I had to guess what you're experien
[Note: I don't work for Stardock, I'm just bored.] I'm not able to reproduce. I am able to confirm that the After save is corrupt and crashes my game when I load it, so you are indeed having a problem. However, I killed the ogre with the level 6 champion, quicksaved right after, closed the program, relaunched, and successfully loaded the quicksave without issue. About your Before save, though. You don't have a level 5 champ. Nea
It probably doesn't happen every time because the random seed is not saved in your save game, and therefore if some random decision the computer makes is crashing the program, it might not make that same decision after you've loaded. If you reload the save game a few times, you might see it happen again. If you do, upload that save. Just make sure you've got it set to autosave every turn.
Autosave saves automatically at the end of your turn, after you've finished doing everything, but before the computer has gone. Basically, it's as if you had saved the game manually right before you hit End Turn. So my question is (because this is what it looks like), are you saying that the computer takes an additional turn upon loading your save game, before you hit End Turn? In other words, you load the game, and the computer-controlled units are not where they
I'm running a faction that has stealth (I've experienced this both with the pre-made and the custom one I'm using in the save), yet every now and then I still get attacked by monsters. I've experienced this on both my computers, and I have provided a save game from either one. I do get attacked less often, but the description says "Monsters won't attack this player's units". So either Stealth isn't 100% working, or
Adding 3 more. - Add an option to automatically open the Build/Train menu when selecting a city. - Add an option to have both Build and Train menus come up at the same time, side by side. Either button would bring up both, or you could replace them with a single button. - Add an option to keep HUD icons at all zoom levels.
There is a mod that does this. Read the forum post for the description of each change (each change is a separate file), because he changed other things as well, and you can pick and choose which ones you implement. https://forums.elementalgame.com/433402 It would be nice if this was built into the game, but at least there's a mod for it.
5. Yes, although it is subtle. There is a green box around the portrait of the unit if it has movement left. Also, you can use [Tab] to cycle between units that have movement left and don't already have a destination set.
I agree that the magic victory is boring, and you can pretty much SimCity your way to victory there. I think one way it could be spiced up is by adding several altars to the map, and you have to cast the spell at one of those altars. The number of altars would be equal to the number of players. Also, the altars would be placed in those monster-faction zones, so you have to fight to get to them, and it would also prevent players from early-game settling them. Then, once
Adding two new ones. It occurred to me that new posts will help keep track of what's been added to the list. I'm still going to update the OP. - The "Who are you?" selection screen should have four categories for specification: Sovereign, Race, Faction, and Unique Equipment. Sovereign would be just the traits that the sovereign has. Race would be traits for your sovereign and produced units. Faction would be the traits that apply to everything yours. Unique Equipme
@TBS Gamer: You are correct. I guess I'd just assumed that since you couldn't do it in the Unit Detail window, you couldn't do it in the City Detail window, either. I'll update my post.
Make sure to check out my UI suggestions thread. It's a long list of small changes that, when you add them up, would make a pretty big change for the better, and it's all things that could be implemented relatively quickly and easily. https://forums.elementalgame.com/439642
I now see that Tab was missing from the list of hotkeys, and what I'd been trying to use is what is listed, which is Home/End ("U" is listed with them, but I hadn't tried it; I thought it did the same thing as Home and End, but it actually functions like Tab, although Tab is a lot more convenient).
@Frogboy: Tree mod is here (it only does a few of the trees, though) http://fallenenchantress.nexusmods.com/mods/6 Also, I modified 2 to specify the button would need a hotkey. @pkrawczynski88: I added your suggestion to the list.
These are a few things that are essentially new feature requests that I didn't feel fit with my UI Suggestions post. These would probably take more work. - More graphics options. There is a mod that replaces a few of the trees with sprites. I would like the option to replace all the trees with sprites. I can't tell the difference between the sprites and the 3D models for trees, but my GPU can. Reduced parti
I made a list of UI suggestions, most that should be easy to implement (most could probably be modded in; I don't know how to mod), and would improve the gameplay. I am NOT making any balance suggestions, or requesting any new spells, units, equipment, whatever. These are all very specific and generally very small changes. These are not lised in any order, however I have categorized them. These were written whe
