Thanks a lot! Champion Bonanza is indeed already compatible with LH 1.7. There is now one or two champions illegally using a class restricted item but it's a... err... feature? :)
Well to chime in for what it's worth, no. I'm not really liking the idea except for real obvious thing (like a "Wizard Staff" or whatever perhaps). Personally I envisage I will try and remove some of the class restrictions that are in the beta from my own mod. Serrated sword of whatever and the like.
Please chime in whenever! Speaking of Demons and Wizards, from the tantalizing previe
Same here. The Butcherman Hair was unlocked to all races and genders when DLC04 got released. Which is pretty strange since the Coreclothes file doesn't list any supported unit model types for it.
In my current LH 1.7 Beta 2.0 game with 13 AI players, none of them were at war with each other until turn 175, when the Blood Season event got triggered. So is the "issue keeping the AI from declaring war" truly fixed? On a side note, having non belligerent AI players results in severe Pioneers spam. All over the place. The river squares still only require one movement point to cross. There is no mention of it in the changelog list unless you consider: "Fixed weird pathfinding b
Hey GFireflyE, I'm still undecided on that one. While there might be one or two items which scream "class restriction", I'm not sold on the idea of limiting access to already existing ones. For the next update, I did add a new rare and powerful armor with a Defender in mind but then I'm wondering, with a class and a level restriction compounded with a high level of rarity, it's bordering on the circumstantial. Or maybe it's just me because I don't
-We have MeleeDefenseAppliesSpell. Can we have RangedDefenseAppliesSpell, MagicDefenseAppliesSpell, AnyDefenseAppliesSpell, etc?
These would indeed be great. It would also be neat to spruce up bows a bit with RangedAppliesSpell.
The amount of xp gained in the LH 1.7 Beta is about 1/3 or 2/5 of what it was in LH 1.6. For further reading: https://forums.elementalgame.com/455997
Well I soldiered on and there hasn't been any improvement. For example, a Cave Bear den on turn 115 gives 9 XP to a hero with potential and tutelage. A level 12 Forest Drake with three Pack Drakes yields 33. Capturing a city with an Epic defense = 21. Leveling up has been reduced to a crawl, my sovereign is getting far less experience on his own than with a champion in LH 1.6. Playing with two heroes in the same stack is simply no longer a viable option. As a result of the XP trickl
These champions are weaponless, armorless and remain static. You also find multiple copies of the same ones dotting the map (e.g. multiple Vasims). Besides champions, I've only seen one Burning Wraith and one stack of Darkling Stingers being spawned by the Wildlands. These likewise remain motionless and don't present a threat. Is this working as i
Well there is such a mention: "Full, completely rewritten battle ranking system for more accurate measurements of a unit's actual lethality" That's probably it but ouch really. Some of those starting monster lairs have become counterproductive.
So what happened to experience? With a lone starting sovereign, a Bear Cub now only yields 4 XP? A Widow lair 9 XP? Worse numbers than 1.6 with 2 champions dividing experience... There is no mention of this in the 1.7 changelog so I'm wondering if this is working as intended?
First and foremost, thank you for the ongoing support and the cool upcoming features. Please consider revisiting AI priorities for items to review some irregularities. Just a few examples: - Mace_Golem vs Warhammer_Battle. These two items have the exact same stats. The first is set at 210, the second at 176. - Staff_War and Staff_Casters are considered better items than all the common daggers (Assassins, Shadow, Razor, Butchers, Sharp)? - The Pad
And many thanks to you xaltotun for giving it a try. [e digicons][/e]
Aah Tjashen beat me to it... Problem solved before I could put the commercial powers of the Black Market Bazaar in motion to cook up a sweet deal. As for the Nexus thing, I believe it's working as intended. You need to be logged in to download any file exceeding 2 megs. Registration is free. Hmm... I probably sound like an advertisement.
Your staff is designed as a ranged weapon: Staff ColdStaff Weapons aren't supposed to be both ranged and melee which explains why the melee attack is behaving so oddly. Since the Icy Bolt is a spell and not a ranged attack, I'd suggest switching the staff to a melee weapon: Spear
Hey midobatsu, An easy way to check whether Champion Bonanza is active is to load up the list of monsters in the Hiergamenon. If the Amethyst Automaton and Yellowbelly appear in the list with their portraits then there is a good chance the mod is properly installed. From your question, I understand that CoS is running without any difficulties? Installing CB is a similar process. The folder "Champion Bonanza" which contains 4 XML files should be pla

Unit AdjustUnitStat UnitStat_ExpBonus -100 THAT's the modifier I was thinking of when I put together that little warning label in my last post. The POINT was to deter people from clicking it, so even if they had bonuses to offset the -100 to experience penalt

Of course, it didn't prevent me from attacking again on the following turn since it doesn't seem to have mastered the concept of fleeing on the stra
The letters all have shop values set at 4. Selling prices being 1/5 of shop values, letters are worth 4/5 of a gildar, meaning less than 1, and still cannot be sold.
The problem is easy to pinpoint. Sventho is one of the 6 champions included in the ChampionBonanzaDLC02.xml file which will only work properly if you have the Quest Pack DLC installed (see the instructions). The missing "ninja animation pack" that comes with the DLC is what's causing the issue in this case.
Nah. The administrators did some corrective updates a while back (that's why FE mods don't have such a big difference between their unique and total download numbers in comparison with the more recent LH mods) and they explained that in some instances, a single download was sometimes erroneously counted multiple times and artificially increased the number of total downloads. The problem probably persists to this day.
Don't think I received a bonus when I used Tempestuous Wrath (BTW, just reporting things because I care, not to annoy). I believe you need to use UnitStat_Attack_Lightning Might want to double-check ElementalMyriad and AttackFrenzy too (Untested, just going by xml).
Hey Primal.
Took a few notes while updating χD/BMB: - Description are hilarious, as usual - Poisoned spells (1/2/4/8) are now (2/3/6/12). Jade Ring, Pestiferous Warhammer, and Poisonous Robe are using old values. - Knockback Hammer "CannotBeCounterattacked" probably (?) missing -1 . Voilà c'est tout. Excellent travail!&n
Updated to version 1.2 compatible with LH 1.6 1.2 Changelog - 34 additional champions for a total of 253 - All level 9 champions updated to 10 skills (just like their official counterparts) - The Amethyst Automaton gains the Uncontrolled Rage ability & the reward for defeating it is increased to 350 gold (was 250) - Fixed Yellowbelly's treasure drop by removing the Skath Fin which sometimes replaced
Just tested the Druid Walking Stick and the Summon Bear spell works without issues. So as you both said, it must be mods conflicting and mine lost the duel. ;) Ahem... On the other hand, the Stoneskin doesn't work (and never did) because I used the strategic version of the spell instead of the tactical one. And since this is a spell I never cast in my games, it has completely escaped my notice. Sigh... I probably even forgot I put it th
