I agree with fixed positions; I would also like wildlands in the world, and more fertile areas. It's a lot bigger but it feels like just a lot more nothingness in between cities. I also wished boats could become an item to purchase but no luck. Instead of getting the bigger points of Civ - you have a giant, almost desolate world with less "sweet spots" than a randomly generated map. I guess a "Wide" Civ5 player would love having 30 towns, 12 conclaves and 4 fo

competition. It is a refusal of companies in the industry to compete. Lets say a business has 3 types of charges that bring a final price to $60. 3 different companies will offer a 20% reduction in a different area of the spectrum to make sure that nobody is losing money from competition. The days of selling under, reducing prices and driving up quality - has been replaced with constant price increases, driving down quality to a minimum, and prof
I hope the content team keeps in mind the interest of Dynasties for an expansion.
My friends wife works in medical billing and coding and she was unable to watch Sicko, or any part of the debate about insurance scamming in the medical industry because it made her feel guilt. I could never call my friend a punk for letting her not watch it (and he even went to 'console' her), let alone tell her that she should feel bad. Sure i understand, she is "no more guilty" than the clerk at BP is for the oil spill, but transference
I am also a writer, and i have been fighting ignorant linguistics for sometime. I never refer to "god" in gender-form, I never attach "Phobia" to something that isn't a psychological illness. Social construct phobias are ugly - nobody for instance, can prove to have a "phobia of homosexuals" but there is support for a "phobia of being homosexual". There is also no basis for a mental illness of fearing Islam or Christianity. There are good reasons to fear some of the
there was a bad movie called twilight i walked out on about halfway through. ive been a proud hater since and make fun of every man who has to retort to twilight to get sex. i mean, it's more fun to find a female who also hates twilight and not have to embarrass yourself.
somebody made a guide, an underground book like the anarchist cookbook, about Demagogy. This person, lets call him "Trollface". What he does, is carefully plan an abstract argument with as many logical and rhetorical fallacies possible. There are some mandates: Red Herring (Oh, education? In order to fix education, we need to create jobs, which NAFTA will achieve) Straw Man (Oh, so yo
go to juggalogathering.com, and do a search for juggalos - be glad he is a brony and count your lucky stars.
this would be like if i invented the cure for cancer. Then, i create 5 copies, go on live tv and destroy 3 of them. I announce the other 2 are now up for auction starting at 200 billion dollars a piece, and each one has been infused with a modified nanofabric that will self-destruct on any attempt to deconstruct/bust the formula; holding the cure hostage to my greed. This is the entitlement that disgusts me about republicans.
Oh, and stay away from: Wealthy - Master Scouts - Tarth: These teach you bad habits. Also, experiment! Sometimes after getting civics, you might decide to go for training and archery before getting henchmen (reason: you get more buff in the field faster with 2 archers and 2 spearman BEFORE one bard because the bard will need to shop at the store or be naked and worthless. Always remember to set your troops to auto-upgrade. </p
and when you want some fun pick this: Faction: Empire. Altar blood. Adepts. Scholars. Weakness to Magic. Enchanters. Sovereign: Warlock. Death 1/Water 1/Brilliant/Scholar/Clumsy. or Fire 2/Impulsive/Tactician/Hardy/Clumsy. In each case you can either remove clumsy or pick one more trait of your
1. You encourage discourse and allow the natural conversation to occur. This means that even when you don't directly respond to virtually everything, there is a notion that there is "a ghost in the machine" telling stardock what players are doing, are wanting, using, complaining about, what they enjoy, don't enjoy, why they enjoy, good suggestions, suggestions similar to internal proposals, etc. This feeling of attention causes people to have better behavior imo. &
it also denies the champs to the AI, so you can pick 3 and use the rest as governors and waypoint guards. i prefer a different form of denial- i like killing the enemy ones to prevent them from being recruited. Warlock with Death/Water/Fire is incredible. wanna know whats overpowered? Altar. They have no racial weakness, the exp bonus works nicely with general and brilliant, henchmen come early and are still valu
i would like a ROTK option to spare them, attempt to bribe/hire them, attempt to sway them to demand a higher price from current leader or "resign" or execute. This would also help the good-evil scale of the game.
be careful, if you make alpha nations, they will perform much better than the default ones. They will be better synchronized and you will have a tougher time. If the sovereign is wealthy god forbid, prepare to see 8 cities before turn 80.
Fallen Enchantress: The Oracles Vision . After winning the war, the land falls into chaos. The mana shards begin to destabilize, and gates have begun to open in the wildlands. Can you survive in her reign? Can you restore the world before all is lost? This expansion adds 4 leaders , and focuses on the 4x strategy aspect of the game, with 12 new champions, and two new win conditions : Planar Conquest (own a mana
Yes to all Monster pack Spell pack Magic item pack New faction pack
This. Also, Campaign Pack that either adds 8 chapters to conclude the story (making the sandbox less of a post-campaign result and more of a what-if...). Faction Pack should include 6 factions/sovereigns, and include a leader for Capitar and Urxen. (thus, 6 factions, 8 leaders and
very good game, and i would recommend it to anyone. a lot of good fun to be had. there is a campaign which is reminiscent of Final Fantasy Tactics or Suikoden Tactics. There is a sandbox mode like civ. The game has a few small issues; sometimes powerful monsters appear near your capital early game and frag you, other times you just can't expand whatsover. however, of all the games ive played, and plan to - i would say there is much to praise from this game.
yes, Unit works with AdjustArmyStat for offense, and defense - armies are kind of like "objects" it seems. I have not tried with hit points but i will tinker around with it. I will now begin the crude work of making traits for custom factions and sovereigns. Then, i will make some items and factions. When i made my army have defense 3, i made a militia (ctrl+j) and walked it out of city. 3 defense. then i move it onto the tile with my champion - still 3 defen
the non-player dark green monster = wildlands?
for me the issue is about "oh crap. I could build on the river but no essence. I could build on the forest but no food. I could build on the shard but no production. I have 3 average city spots that could become a good city if..." which is why i like "snaking. And bridges i saw as unneeded until my recent game where i ignorantly built a city on a river by a mountain and it got cornered and could only build 2 buildings.
you get them when you upgrade the crystals to shrines - one when you first build it then every so often, another one of the same strength. Then, when you upgrade the shrine to temple, etc. you get stronger versions of it. Each type has its own elemental it produces, from grave elementals to cyndrum demons. However not all of them produce one on the "Shrines", some of them only produce on the temple upwards. You can make a slave-based bandit lord or beast lord faction an
there is a difference between a company who can only successfully operate if they use foreign labor and a company who is already well off just trying to cut costs. I also believe there is a difference between companies who create jobs that are beneficial to their employees overseas and those who create draconian sweatshops that would never be legal in the home country. I believe the "pawn all costs on the consumer" has defeated every possible fine, tax increase or regulation. For inst
my personal quote: Don't twilight the stoker, please. (Don't dumb this thing down, remove anything good, and replace it with glittering metrosexual emo kids.) My most recent book is Collapse, by Jared Diamond - a wonderful anthropological book about how societies choose to succeed or fail. Diamond takes a look at several societies such as the Vikings of Greenland and the Maori of Easter Island. Then he looks at the climate, social, economical a
this is perhaps the first 4x game where a "map pack" has sufficed as a DLC item. Normally, as i said before half of the DLC out there just feels like it was plucked out of the game to be sold separately to minimize content. That said, i am surprised i find myself looking forward to the map pack. Now i am hoping for a Civ Pack (which would hopefully include new sand to create characters with!) or a campaign pack (to add 12 chapters to the campaign - or give a
