One of the things I like about the tactical battles in AOW3, is that if you really think your moves through, even with equally strong army's, you can win without losing a unit, or one at the most. It's all in the movement. :) The green, yellow and red hexes are a great idea.

[ quote who="GFireflyE" reply="118" id="3457668"] Quoting XWerewolfX, reply 117Give us something Stardock. I have this shitty feeling that this is going the way of FE 1.4... SD can't do that... <span id="84419544-bfc0-473
I will go over to Linux before I would touch windows 8.
I have not played civ V very much, but I would say that both strategic and tactical walk hand in hand. I have no idea why it should be so popular, I find it boring, yet I very much like the Warlock series, which plays under the same principle.
For me, tactical battles are the conclusion of everything else, and should be given the attention that they deserve. Most people revel in tactical game play, empire building can quickly grow old without it.
I'm getting it, I'm getting it. I just need to rob our local post office first.
You could say that's the problem lies. FE is finished, 100%, but with the page showing an unreleased patch it sort of conveys the wrong message.
I get the same feeling. WOM-never finished, FE-stalled at 95%. Will LH go the same way? Stalled at 95% completion, frozen in time like a giant popsicle until the end of days. Gal Civ III, at 95%, boom! The announcement that the LH2 Alpha is up for early access.
I was very close to buying into the Gal Civ alpha, but then I thought about my experience's so far with the FE and LH beta's, so I put it on hold for the time being. Anyways, I'm not all that bothered anymore, I have gotten myself addicted to the Warlock series. They are surprisingly much better than I had imagined.
Cheating AI, here we go again. Can no one program AI anymore? It seemed to be so much better in old games that run with only 48/64k.
Does this mean we are going steady Wolfie? [e digicons]:inlove:[/e]
They have already said it would be late April, but they did not mention the year.
I am having none of the above problems EvilMax . I haven't tried to run the game in a borderless window, but the graphics and scrolling run perfect to me.
It would be somewhat elegant if they actually finished one game before proceeding to the next, don't you think? [e digicons]
I have been waiting to pick it up cheap myself. It's not a LH beater, but it's a very good game and well worth the price of a bag of potatoes. I bought the main game and used my blue coins to get the dlc , so I got myself the bargain of the year. :)
Just noticed this on Gamers Gate if anyone is interested. You can also buy the DLC separate at the same offer. http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/DDB-WLMAC/warlock-master-of-the-arcane-collection-bundle
[ quote who="Heavenfall" reply="87" id="3455476"] Dude, you think this is taking a long time? Fallen Enchantress 1.4 was literally never released! [/<span id="ae5832c5-0941-4060-a7a2-4e08cbe46893" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mar
Yes, I will give them time. Is it ready yet? :) No, but, I think it's going to be a special patch with it taking so long, maybe as you say have new content.
Okay it's time to eat my Tattyhat. I have been playing since yesterday and have to admit I am really starting to like the game. [e digicons][/e] It's not as deep and fulfilling as LH, but still a lo
Is this patch special, is that why it's been hanging around for decades unreleased? I want to be a beastmaster .
My computer is pretty good, but I found the campaign map to be a little laggy, but I would say a few patch's from now and it might be a different story. When it come's to AI, I'm a bit back-to-front. When people say the AI is hard, I usually find it easy. When they say the AI is easy, I find it really hard. :)
What level were you guys playing on? I was playing normal, and I didn't think the AI was all that hot. It might just have been luck though.
Oi , at least I had something to say that's related to the game, you're just on here name calling. [e digicons]:seal:[/e]
Never mind, it was only £30, and I think you can get a refund from GOG, if I wanted one that is. It has done one thing good that is worth mentioning. It has made me appreciate LH much more. [e digicons]|-)[/e]
Well, I bought it on the basis of comments made in this post, and..... I don't like it.
