perhaps its just the particular skin, try loadin another cursor set. if the same thing happens, open up the advanced tab and see if u mite have changed some fo the settings there. and if all else fails, reinstall the latest verion of cursorxp

Good Job to everyone... I got mentioned 5th place with my icons!! :-O (better luck next olympics :) ) ... one suggestion to future judgings of these competitions so that there is no complaining: the judges should not be allowed to view any of the skins until the judging begins, that way they are not influenced by people's comments, or look at newer skins more closely than older ones, etc.

i personally like the woo-hoo-fer skin. Its very creative even though some of the buttons are a little hard to read... ...and WHEN ARE THE RESULTS FOR THE PREVIOUS EVENT GOING TO BE POSTED??????????????????
rikkie... yes it does include the win 2000 startbutton and taskbar buttons, but as to the extent of win 2000 support, i don't know. ...some1 shud make a cursor, logon, bootscreen for this...
Im going to have to go with Kewk-Hoe for gold, opulence for silver... bronze is kind of up for grabs, there are several other exceptional skins out there.
I have been playing around with it, but i can't seem to figure out how to change the taskbar height in skinstudio... some skins have wider taskbars while others have realtively thin taskbars... if anyone knows how to change the taskbar size, please tell me!!
i am almost done with my 2 windowblinds skins, but i am still working on an iconpackager and a winamp... judging at the rate at which i am doing these icons, and the winamp, i believe that you should extend those deadlines by around 2 weeks so that most people will be able to complete their works in time. You should stick true to your windowblinds deadlines though, sincea month is more than adequate time to complete several windowblinds skins.

also check the power supply connector to the motherboard. once mines got shaken loose and took me 3 hours to figure it out also check your memory. if you can hear a beep when you turn on, then it might be your hdd ide cable loose.
i have that problem too i figured out that if you right click the comments link, open in new window, it automatically makes it www2.wincustomize.com/... get rid of the 2 then post your comment. it whould work now. i dont kno wats wrong

one more thing... stay away from nvidia, and if you are going to get an asus a7n8x motherboard like i have, you should probably get a oem ati card (i got a sapphire 9600 and there were compatability probs and it wouldnt work ) the athlon xp bartons are also very high quality, and much cheaper than equivalent pentiums, i have been using an athlon xp barton 1800+, only 80$ and i can play all the latest
the hyper threading is also good, pentium has its good qualities, and amd is better in other aspects.
im not sure... it depends on what you are using the puter for. one thing though, DONT get any SE video cards. they dont use 128 bit memory and that just bottlenecks the entire card. you can get a regular non pro 9600 for under 100$. if you really want a top of the line computer, i woulod go with the amd-64 fx 51, a 9800 pro 128mb, asus motherboard, and corsair ram.
