uhh, are you talking about getting system tray icons in your dock? if so, check these out: http://nimix13.ni.funpic.de/tray/ and http://corkyo.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?AID=98648 or if you're talking about getting taskbar items into object dock, go to dock settings -> dock contents -> display open windows along with my icons.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking exactly the same thing: add in some functionless buttons that only show when max and min button are not present. Do you know what the code would look like to display when there is no max or min though? I remember there were all sorts of useful pulldown menus in the old SKS that would allow you to define these things, but not in the new SKS.

Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about. The top is a picture of the buttons for normal windows, the dark part of each circle is semi-transparent. The middle is what happens with windows that only have the close button (you can see the holes I cut out of the titlebar for the min and max buttons). The third is what I would like windows with only one close button to look like. <img src="http://img44.imageshack.us/img44/7524/21959528.jpg" alt="" width="90" height="11

Hi, I'm running into a bit of trouble in skinstudio getting the close button (single) to align the way I want. It seems that skinstudio (v6.4) places the lone close button (that is, for popup windows which only have a close button and no min or max buttons) based on the alignment values for the normal close button. Normally this would be fine, but for the skin I am currently working on, I have cut out holes in an otherwise solid titlebar for each of the min/max/close buttons (then whe

Unless you have a blank harddrive or unformatted space on your harddrive, then yes, you will have to create a partition beforehand. Check out the create and format hard disk partitions entry in the control panel to do this. You can right click on the harddrive where you want to install Windows 7, select shrink partition, and then shrink it to leave enough space for your Windows 7 partition, and create the new partition there. Deleting Windows 7 then will only be the a matter of removing the d

Which IE icon? Is it a shortcut that you created yourself, or the one on the desktop? If it's a shortcut that you've created, try changing it individually. If not, try reloading the package (and making sure the package you're loading actually has an IE icon).

I believe that DWM is necessary for most of Vista's special effects: blurred transparency (idk if windowblinds uses its own method to do that now), window animations/transitions, win key + tab 3d window switching, dreamscene (maybe?), window previewing (when hovering over taskbar items), etc. If you don't need or use these things, then I don't think there's any problem with disabling DWM although it may break some programs that use it. In fact, you can't run DWM without a DX9 gfx card anyway,

I'm trying to find one of the GUI champs 2006 wallpaper winners, musicholic by BingBen. It's long been one of my favorite wallpapers, but after just reformatting my computer, I've lost it and now it seems that the wall no longer exists anywhere on the web. Does anyone it on their computer and would be willing to send it to me? It would be much appreciated. You can see a small thumbnail of the wall here:http://forums.guichamps.com/132993
SDC is the reccommended method of update and is more likely to work than the stand-alone installer.
Sorry. What I meant was, have you tried uninstalling windowblinds through SDC, restarting, then installing it again (through SDC)? Sometimes I find that when updating through SDC some files don't update correctly for whatever reason, but an uninstall/redownload entire program seems to fix some problems. And also, run SDC as administrator.
