Crobs808 is just looking for attention. I'm not going to give it to him.

There's nothing a graphic designer hates worse than some no-talent know-it-all telling them how to do their craft. Crobs808 would have more success jumping into a shark tank with raw meat tied to his body.

I'd tell you how I really feel, but then I probably have to exile myself.

heh, have any of you realized that crob's other fav site theme-xp.org is for stylexp themes?

read the windowblinds trolling thread and get an understanding of what type of ppl those style-xp lovers are

O yea, and btw, im only 15, and i know my skins would never match up against skins by ne of the master skinners out there, but hey, everyone (even those current elite members of the skinning community) started somewhere didn't they?

Besides, submitting your work to a great site like this and getting constructive comments is more than enough schooling you will ever need. I personally believe that formal schooling (especially for the arts) stunts one's learning, growth, and creativity. When you are in a class of 15 or so other people, everyone has to do the same lessons, the classes are all laid out, day 1 learn this, day2..., and anythign your particularly like, you must explore on your own time.In a class like that no one really has the freedon to try out new things and be creative unless its on their own time (in which case, why bother to take the class at all?).

I'd say your skins stack up against anything just fine, especialy if you can keep them all at the quality Simplex is.

"Ah...where would we be without our opinions?

Reality check....the average age of GUI skinners would be well over '18'......very likely the 'wrong' side of 30.
Many have 'formal training'....mine was 30 years ago....[though it's still continuing through sites such as this]." writted by Admin Jafo - 7/17/2004 7:43:44 PM

I'm 40+ my "formal training", was back in the 80's, With family and work skinning has become challenging, yet addictive!!
Maybe except for the basics, "formal training" has not helped me much, but the artwork on this site has.

ps: thanks elvee for your help, again!

/me is not sure but I think most of the GUIO skinners are under 30 with a few over 40 and 50.

Oh who knows, it's the internet, age will always be a mystery.

Mindless, I've been looking through your older skins and can't take my eye off of elemental forces, any chance of an update for WB4?
