I wonder if that's how Boyne got owned? It'd be interesting to see how the AI fares after this is fixed. Will it get consistently steamrolled? People are already saying it's too easy.

I hope YOU'RE kidding. Real men play the game in a single sitting. And if the game crashes, it's your own fault for having a crappy computer stuffed with bloatware. RESTART!
While we're at it, please consider correcting other egregious offenses against mankind. Off the top of my head: -Abolish Magnar -Axe Raise Land - think of the coral reefs!!! -Send Irane back to the kitchen (sheesh) -Curgen's Volcano - are you promoting genocide, Brad? A more humane spell like Lift City to L5 Space Colony would do.
edit: double post magic
@Rhadagast This happens consistently to me. You may verify it yourself by using the unfog cheat: 1. Run FE with -cheat suffix 2. Ctrl + U Also verified it for 1.004.
Just had a WTF moment when Relias finished construction of the Great Mill on turn 70 or something like that. I suspected that the trigger was loading a savegame (yeah, yeah, I made a blunder in tac combat - stupid clumsy trait!), and went on to test it. Sure enough, every time you load a game and the AI has improvements on its queue, they *ALL* get instantly completed the next turn (needless to say, it costs no gildar, not even the 25 minimum).
Reminds me of the tactical dungeons in Age of Wonders. Simpler, less interesting game, with braindead AI, but that was a fine idea. I'm glad you've picked up on it, since you'll do it a lot better.
Brad, is that a valid comparison, or is it more of a single-room affair, with navigation done via text menus?
Re. Procipinee, I like plopping an outpost to mark territory as mine, and then use Freeze. You can take out powerful creatures early this way, especially if you have a ranged weapon.
Someone at SD is now saying: "See? I told you most of them wouldn't even pay a lousy buck for MP!" I get the feeling that the poll was meant to demonstrate that, anyway. Who makes $1 DLCs for anything but superficial stuff?
Sounds like a bug, my guess is that the Monster AI tries to go after the pioneer that founded the city/outpost (and fails because it no longer exists), resulting in inaction (guardian) or targetting the next closest thing (wandering mob).
I've encountered a wildland area that is sealed within a mountain range. There are gargoyle statues around it (or maybe other monster), and there is an opening with a gate. However, the gate is closed and the tile just before the gate is unclickable. Is it a bug? Or does entering the place have some special requirement? (playing v0.9)
