When I last looked at it, the AI was building cities as if they had access to snaking towards forests and rivers, and than getting snubbed when they built towards and found out the hard way that it's been coded out of the game. Implementing snaking makes the AI smarter, imo.

Imo, there should be an RPG element to the conquering of the wildlands. Each sovereign should have an RPG storyline written out, with "good" and "bad" path to follow; the user gets to choose which. This RPG path would allow for a loose story to be told throughout the sandbox mode; from what heros you attract to your cause, to which wildlands you need to go and explore, to which side your forces will commit to. Also along the way you'll be able to gather important pieces

Imo. #1 goes to Planescape: Torment. #2 goes to Dragon Age: Origins #3 goes to KOTOR

Planescape: Torment. There is no better. Plot. Theme. Character Development. Everything. Second place goes to Dragon Age: Origins, because it truely is the most emersive rpg made. I wish someone would remake Planescape: Torment with the Dragon Age: Origins gaming engine. That. Would. Be. Awesome! Third place goes to KOTOR. If I were ever knocked with amnesia, that would be the first rpg I'd play again, simply to be completely BLOWN away by the climax all ov
So really, the biggest gameplay changes are the swarm mechanic, how heros are obtained, and greater control over the sovereign's leveling up path? Has any content been included? New monsters, quests, magic items, etc?
apparently lots of undead monsters have been added.

I'l play and play and play and play. When I load the next day, I generally have a very hard time getting back into it. If I do, I play and play and play some more. XD. If I don't, I start over and play and play and play again. XD
The game looks beautiful! I am really happy with the hero recruitment and the tactical battles seem better (though clearly the game need a better UI clue for when a unit has ranged attack -- how frustrating it was watching you end-turn on your fire-mage). Is it too late to make a common-sense UI suggestion? Watching your play-through, there's an issue with flavor text dialogs breaking the flow of the game. Fla

@Derek Would it be possible for me to get access to the full 1.3 download on my stardock account for a day or two so that I can redownload. I would very much like to iron out this potential bug/glitch, at the very least, so that I won't experiance it in ver 1.4 when released. Thanks

Just download and install the Snaking Mod. Problem fixed. Also recommend the Bridge bulding mod. parrotmath outdid himself. They REALLY complete the city building aspect of the game.

Great vid! Thanks for the preview. - Swarm seems a little overpowered atm. - Love the recruit champion and champion upgrade system. - Would be nice if a popup still appeared showing champion damages instead of just in the combat results... - How about that Assassin Demon, eh? ;) - Maybe it's just the vid quality coming through, but it seemed to me that the graphics for the goodie huts, resources, etc has gone down a notch. Either that or you&#3

Okay. Tried the backwards update. Installed 1.32 Full. Than installed 1.3 update. --> Font problem persisted. Than installed 1.31 update. --> Font problem persisted. I figured I'd start diagnosing by trying the following: Installed ver 1.32 full version from clean system. -- Font problem persists Installed ver 1.32 update overtop of 1.32 full version. -- Font problem persists (it was a long shot, but I figured maybe the update didn't have the problem.) On a side note, are the fonts suppose to be found within the windows/fonts directory after install?

Having said that, I think that a new map pack loaded with many new stamps would be cool and add a lot to the game. BUT it should be advertised as something that improves random maps, and not just as a bunch of maps.
Agreed. As far as I knew, no stamps were included in t
