Is the scenario going to be restricted till 1.00 release again?? (cause that didn't work out so well the first time around)

LH uses Steamworks, Steam will be required. Disappointed I am! I still don't use Steamworks, and I don't plan to now. I guess that means I won't be playing Legendary Heros, either during th
I sympathize with the OP. To purchase a game only to see the next generation completely blow it out of the water can be a hard pill to take. Nevertheless, imo it would still be well worth the puchase. In my case, I bought the BETA. There were ZERO promises in place in what to expect as an end result with FE, so it's $40 well spent whether you got what you wanted or didn't. The fact that I didn't get my wishlist developed doesn't mean that's it&
Quoting mqpiffle, reply 7 No. I rarely use them. I don't think the cost:benefit is worthwhile. I'd like to see them stay, it's just that I think they could use an overhaul. Like providing healing to units, or acting like archer towers or mage towers which shoot at enemies. Or they could boost the resources around them. The current options are
Imo, unrest needs a great deal of fine tuning. A player shouldn't be penalized by choosing the strategy of building many cities in order to develop his empire. Granted, a thematic arguement can be made that larger empires do have more management, corruption, and thus unrest issues since the buracracy isn't able to function as efficantly. However, if we move to this approach, than there should be government types to choose from to start with. In addition,
Perhaps, if the 'No-Raze' option is active, instead rampaging monsters destroy X number of buildings at randon, where X is dependant on the strength of force attacking the city. (weak, strong, deadly, etc)
and please backport anything that you are willing to from LH. ;)
You beat me to it. Yes, the issue has been resolved. Turns out the full 1.32 version I downloaded from SD was corrupted somehow. When I redownloaded the same file and installed, problem was gone. and no....steam download would not be better. :P
Imo, there should be an 'anti-treaty' that you can place on other factions. You lose some diplomacy ratings if you turn it on, but the effect basically would say "by entering my territory, you are declaring war on me", just to make sure they STAY OUT. Naturally, they can do the same to you. ;)
I really like the hardcap in the game. If it's to be changable, please just make it moddable, while leaving the default hardcap at 9. Thanks
Pioneers cost gold instead of population Wait, why? Why are we going away from the population requirement? I thought this was done to combat pioneer spamming? I don't get it....
They've been flip-flopping alot on this one. Problem is that pioneers costing population for cities is just right....but pioneers costing population for outposts makes the cost too
I recommended to give Scouts a usefulness to the game by making them have the seconded ability of building outposts. (and eliminating pioneers from being able to do so).
While FE and LH are technically stand alone games, LH is looking to be FE's better in every way (with the exception of being steam only....massive monopoly FAIL). The map pack is 100% compatible with LH.
I patiently wait for the changlog fix: Steam free. XD
*** Unreleased *** 50% less Ogre crotch
LOLZ
They may add it, but I saw in a previous thread that Frogboy removed it quite deliberately, not to be added again. I mentioned already then that I thought it would make for a very bare landscape, but it twas the opinion of a lowly end user. ;) I think with all the new graphics and stuff, the ground cover was taking up too much memory.
a gog.com release would be nice
Yes please!

I been running the beta version for months now with zero issues.' Steam just forced Skyrim's latest patch on me and wrecked my current save game. That just re-enforces my resolve to never buy another single player game that requires Steam. As good as this looks, I'll p
Agreed. Mages should be considered ranged units. A VERY simple fix to this would be to make ALL staves ranged weapons. The game would then place mages on the BACK line along with archers. Give staves a bonus to spell casting power..... example: A fire staff has the equivelant to 1 fire shard. Thus the user of this staff would be granted the global fire shard bonus PLUS this staffs fire shard bonus. In addition, it shoots a small ranged fire attack so that when/if you run
I have an idea for City Defence and I've been stewing where to put it for a little bit now. It all started with the problem where the AI would continually get full health units EACH time the city were attacked, EVEN in the same round!, whereas the player would LOSE his city defense altogether in the event of two sequencial attacks. Here is the system I have thought up: I would like to see a two columned UI page before every combat
I'm all for spells and items and quests. Anything that makes the RPGness of this game even more RPGness!

um...about the combat that exists in the streets, what happens if there is a WALL around the city to keep pesky conquers out???
The following is a list of comments I would like to make concerning improvment over the game. Let me say before that though that I have read through the list thouroughly and have found MANY MANY excellant additions to the game. Here's my comments: Fame- Clearing lairs, completing quests and building some improvements gains Fame for your faction. When enough Fame
I'd sooner want pedestrians for 32-bit machines than shadows for 32-bit machines. Honestly, throughout all of FE, I never once thought "wow...this game could/should really have shadows".
they're probably looking for a way to release it so it's not steam dependant. XD jk
