Good Morning Was wondering if anyon knew where to easily find the swarm mechanic and how it can be modified. I wish to remove the +1 attack from the ability.

Other than polishing it up with new graphics and making the interface more intuitive anno 2013, it becomes very risky messing with the "formula" without disturbing the core gameplay and what made it "Master of Magic". In the end it has set a foundation for other games to draw inspiration from, the Elemental series, Age of Wonders series, ect. I think it's more intere
how about: "Legendary Heroes: Elemental Reborn" Really completes the awesome trilogy that you've been releasing, doesn't it. [e digicons];)[/e] Also really acknowledges E:WOM for what it was and what SD has quite exceptionally turned it into. Elemental: War of Magic --> Elemental: Fallen Enchantress --> Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes --> Legenary Heroes: Elemental Reborn Also gives you a VERY strong premise in which to buil
Friendly units can now move through each other in tactical NO! SD STAHP. WAT U DOIN? I don't understand this change at all, you just killed a significant amount of tactical relevance to positioning (now that it was finally starting to matter with weapon abilities!). All for having to not implement proper positioning pre-combat??? Or what is the intent here...
^This
Friendly units can now move through each other in tactical Whaaaa!! This is good, very good. it will take a lot of the frustration away with tactical battles.
[e digicons]8C[/e] I do not like this at all. It will take away from the tactical positioning of your units. might as well just select auto-resolve if tactical becomes anymore streamlined.
LH will require Steam to run.
Steam exclusive??? Wasn't aware of that... why? I bought directly from Stardock to avoid Steam, yet it seems to be the only way to download... would you please reconsider this and add download links from Stardock for us who do not want Steam and bought from you? Thanks.
It keeps creeping up, and while I agree with you in that I don't want this game to be steam exclusive, Brad has already mad
very interesting idea. I like how it would handle ninja looting the lair. However, if the lair were to change how fast it generated units, say 2x to stick with the example above, you would/could then have a potential exploit in which to generate XP for your units.

I'd like to see this as well. What if the "master quest" was either the dragon statues O
I loved Star Trek Into Darkness! Luckily, I was able to avoid spoilers. I'll even go as far as saying I loved it better than the first one (in the reboot, that is.)
Definately better than the first reboot startrek. Just finished watching it and still have no idea what the 'into darkness' is all about...

LH is a better game in every way. I'm waiting for the 1.4 patch so see how much balance changes are backported to FE. I have steam issues.
doesn't value having a store of Mana Frogboy(AI GUY) has said he has had a hard time with this issue. I wouldn't mind the AI getting some under the table help with this on harder difficulties, better than units with a bazillion traits.
It's almost like the AI needs two pools of mana. The first pool is dedicated for 'common' spells. The second pool of mana is for 'larger&
Actually, there are, already. a few heroes that you 'find' on the map. They are 'found' via completing certain quests. And they are cool heroes!
True. I am aware of those. I just thought having the option to buy a hero like in FE occasionally would add to the game...
I really do like how fame brings heros right to your door. However, the more I see LH, the more I miss actually finding heros on the map. Would it be possible to have both systems in the game? Hiring heros through fame as the primary means, ensuring that you will always at least get some heros.....but also having the oppertunities to hire 'merc' heros that you find on the map occassionally. Those are the best treasures of all. Thoughts? Comments?
I'd love to see a 'let's play' with this update. [e digicons]:inlove:[/e]
Have you noticed that the main source of troops for Resoln are generated from their shard shrines and altars? The shard units are free from upkeep and if they die, you generate new ones automatically.
and for the most part, those units suck.
IIRC, the game biases high-level monster lairs away from the player's starting point. It doesn't do that for the AIs. Which means that the AIs start with clambercoil dragons and all the other nasties right on their doorstep. And no number of club-bearing militia is going to take down a dragon. I think that factor alone could account for the inability of the AI to be competitive at the mid/late game stage.&n
Good changes, except for Propaganda. Wasn't that already the weakest city enchantment?
Definately remember SD increasing Propaganda from 1 gildar/essence to 2 gildar/essence at one point. ;) Imo, it should stay at 2, but that's because my mod tax system has harsher unrest penalties overall....so the extra gildar is needed.
Antipathy: Costs too much mana. I might use this spell if it were 50 mana = 100g
I think this completely depends on who you are playings. With Paradin, 100 : 100 ratio is easy money.
Counterspell. With a lot of spells losing their casting time, counterspell basically becomes pointless. Perhaps a new mechanic for Counterspell is in order, like automatically firing anytime an enemy casts a spell.
True this. I never use counterspell. Why cancel someone's magic when you can just kill the caster with your own spell instead.
