One more thing. I'd love an option to change projection from current (I don't know how it's called; people call it "top-down") to isometric. Tactical battles could benefit from that in terms of readability . I'd really like to see the screenshot from OP in isometric projection. Sorry for OT.

I would like to make my PCs share their computing powers. It would be so cool!
I like the idea. I don't like it's graphical representation (second screenshot). Sub-tiles should be much smaller than the c ity hub. This lumber mill is enormous (or city hub is tiny)!
Speaking of Steam. Will FE be available on OnLive? I could play FE on my crappy PC!

There would be two kinds of buildings: normal and special. In one city you could build only very limited number of special ones.
I think there could be a reasonable compromise between current cities and one-tiled cities -- one-tiled cities with a few possible expansions. or All normal buildings (90% of buildings) would be built inside City tile. But there would be some special buildings (like University Campus, Military

I liked this in FFH 2: animals could be controlled by players and had hidden nationality (afair).
Did you know...? Microsoft Airplane 8 has two different and very specialized user interfaces. Pilot, in order to perform certain tasks, can smoothly switch between them with easy to learn mouse or hand gestures. For instance pitch can be controlled in the first UI (fun fact: it's called Subway ) and roll in the second. (Some headstrong pilots still try to find a way to control yaw. Actually it's being controlled by Cloud Autopi
