Whoa! Stardock's art direction is in real renaissance. Nice.
2. Empire building. This is a really good discussion because really, that is the crux of the argument for the game: Is the game about your EMPIRE or about the Party of heroes you're putting together? I.e. where should the focus be.
I'd like it to be closer to this little-but-very-clever "There is only Power" game, so make it party-focused, please. You could always make some kind of empire-focused expansion set later.
I'd hate to be this buy, but...

Just look at the screenshots guys: it looks very similar to GalCiv 3. Good inspiration imo. So it's your turn Stardock! Go and make realistic 4X turn-based strategy game that covers all human history and looks Civ V pale in comparison. HA! I'm serious: only Stardock could make a game that could be a direct competition with Firaxis' Civ games. And I don't really think they are capable of making anything really innovat
"The next game from the mind of veteran Civilization designer Sid Meier has been revealed. 2K and Firaxis Games have announced Sid Meier's Starships, an interstellar strategy game. Scheduled to arrive in early 2015, the turn-based game is coming to PC, Mac, and iPad. Pricing was not announced, nor were any details about a possible Android version. <a class="fluid-height hoverZoomLink" href="http://static1.gamespot.com/uploads/original/1179/11799911/2784

I like new art direction. WOM was ugly, FE/LH was way better, but I still didn't like it's graphics. SK looks sweet. Maybe a little too cartoony, but I really don't mind it.
15 year MS veteran, here. The problems here are mostly structural, in the sense that the problems come from the structure of teams, rather than the quality of individual people. Most of the developers at MS are actually quite good; many are top-notch. So why is so much of the product shit? It's because the goals are not set by the engineers. The final decisions are not made by engineers.
The rest is <a href="https://np.reddit.com/r/windowsphone/comments/2re2

Did you resolve two-units-in-one-square issue (the one caused by concurrency or something)?

Sadly, for me, and likely others like me, the reputation is so badly scarred by paying into demigod and elemental and getting half-assed projects in return, that I cannot see myself purchasing another product from Stardock ever again. Trust is an important part of business, and Stardock did it's damnedest to

Oh, I'm sorry, I should have suppressed my trollish jokes. Not being English native speaker does not help here. But you didn't consider this possibility, did you? Instead you assumed that I can't read (edit: which is true to some degree, as we both can see).

Mass Effect Trilogy on Origin for a couple of bucks. I'll finally play it.
SK is the first Elemental game that looks aesthetically nice (in fact it looks very nice). Is it possible to make LH at least a little bit like it? I know that backporting graphics is impossible (I'd be awesome though), but some graphical update would be really appreciated.

So I'm kinda expecting the worst.
JJ knows what he's doing. Besides, new Star Trek movies are more like Star Wars movies than original Star Trek movies/series.
