Looking forward to taking this bad boy for a test drive.
Civilization V has 30000 to 40000 players daily. Among that group of players, there are a bunch of players who would play fantasy 4x if they felt the game was better/equal/slightyworse than Civ5. Right now, no fantasy 4x has managed to convince those players to move.
I play LH and I think "This is pretty fun, but if I could just tweak a few things..." I play Civ V: BNW and I think "This is spot on." <p
My completely random uneducated unknowing guesstimate would be just after Thanksgiving (late November.)
If I'm not mistaken, there's a huge issue with stacks of groups using the abilities as well. 3x30 attacks are inferior to one 90 attack because defense soaks much less against a 90 attack.
True, but each instance in the 3x30 attack rolls against dodge, so there are more chances to hit.
Playing with that myself you manually have to place the forest props and change the scale yourself (at least the way I was able to do it). edit: Press + or - on the number pad, to increase the size of props you place.
I think [Shift] or [Ctrl] + mousewheel will change rotation and scale. Not sure which does what. I know it works that way in the Builder's Forge, anyhow.

Version 3 is now live! Fixed icons; 1.7 compliant. Enjoy!
Great mod! My custom soverign enjoys the new spells.
Thanks! I've always felt the Life spellbook could use a little lift. Update coming soon.
Confirmed: AI is declaring war. Thank you!
mqpiffle - Do you have the release patch? I know mine only came through at 1:40ish PM EST.
This was as of the latest beta release(7/17). If that issue was fixed prior to the full relase, then that would be a pleasant surprise! [e digicons][/e]
Fixed an issue keeping the AI from declaring war
This is not fixed. Also, AI factions with Expansionist trait are producing hoards of Pioneers. There's a screenshot floating around the forums...I'll try to find it or link my own at some point.
Quoting Ericridge, reply 87 Yup I notice the same thing too. Glad to hear it's not just me then. I was starting to wonder if I were cursed or the AI just doesn't like the way I look! [e digicons]:dog:[/e]

On champ XP sharing -- the problem with having everyone get full XP is that with how limited (easy) XP for heroes is, it becomes the obvious and overbearingly powerful strat to always stack your champs up to maximize the (easy) XP you can farm off of quests/lairs/wildlands. And on a thematic level, LH is more about having heroes lead armies rather than D&D-style bands of adventurers roaming the landscape.
Yes.&nbs
One quick newbie question: do "empire-wide" bonuses such as Academy of Revelation or Governor's Office or Guild Tribunal stack with each other as more cities in your empire reach higher levels and acquire them?
yes
Recommended Changes for Conclave level up improvements: Reduce Scroll Scribe's Research bonus from 20% down to 10% Move Oracle to level 4 Conclave upgrade. Move Tenfell University to level 3 Conclave upgrade. Improve Tenfell University's bonus by adding "+1 Fame per Season" Change Amethyst Vault to be "+1 Crystal per Essence per Season" Reduce Academy of Revelation's global Research bonus from 10% down to 5% The Pyre
On city level-up upgrades, I do find myself picking the same ones almost all the time. Mostly because Strike Garrison, Prison, Oracle, Amethyst Vault, Guild Grocer, and Governor's Whatever are so crazy freaking good. I'll poke Derek to see if he agrees
I agree city level-ups need a LOT of love. Funny, I almost always take Infirmary at Fortress lvl 3. I actually think that level-up (Fort3)
At very least this does explain why most of the AIs fail hard now, they're going tall and dying horribly in general, ones that go wide and develop their cities successfully while using cheats to mitigate the unrest penalties is the ones that give me a good fight.
Less unrest mitigation = tall > wide. Wide was overwhelmingly the best choice, previously. We'll see how it plays out with the new patc
We need a high-end unrest reducing building that can be built in any city with all the nerfs you are doing to unrest. (requiring Alliances or some unused civics tech)
Moar wunderz plz.
I'll take that as a "yes." [e digicons];P[/e]
Do you know if we'll get a second round of beta testing with the new changes?
Wondering now if this update is going to need a second round of beta testing, of if the hoped-for release date of 7/17 is still being planned. I would personally prefer another beta update and the release date be pushed back.
Nobody ever answered my earlier question--where do I find this trait? It's obviously not part of a trait tree for a class so is it only on items?
There is a single hero who has this trait. It cannot be learned by anyone else.
It would also be nice to have an option to target all units in a tactical battle (enemy and friendly).
This is already possible. Simply leave out the tag.
