I love how in the Lord of the Rings there clearly has been a long buildup of tension. So it would be cool if monsters, and especially wastelands, would slowly turn more aggressive based on events, how much you (or other players) harass/pressure them or just time passing. An event could be to get a mission you must complete to calm down a powerful wasteland (destroy the ring!). It could also be funny if you could on purpose harass a wast
ya pretty good, Procipinee's magic seems to add alot to hers (maybe it's the shinyness of it?, made me think off adding glowing glyphs or something to them all, like their banner or something)
Sounds like a necessary change to me but what to I know (Had to say something being I was first)
"In addition, the way heroes were handled was something that felt too much like luck. Instead, you will find champions being powers unto themselves. They’re typically living in their fortress, keep, dungeon, or what have you. The more powerful they are, the better your recruiting skill will need to be to recruit them." In Aow:sm there was a problem with no matter how many heros you put in the scenario/map before the game started (I'd make maps with 200-3
rofl......., uhmm..........., I know you don't want to give us all the info on the games details, but I pray you help me with this one.... What is Leadanna's third trait on the top left (the red one) for I'm affraid to continue guessing after I thought of what the effect might be: "smells of rotten clams" -7 to charisma as she seems to be at least a 13 charisma to me ps I tried to keep this appropriate as much as possible, hopefully only those with the same
D*mmit I love this company, anytime a business values it's employees it's a win in my book. But I have to say that the other games mentioned will no doubt be better than this one simply due to them not being contagious.
"Before the beta hits, we’ll be releasing some videos along with some AI vs. AI battles to show players how the new game plays." Thank you so much, this is what I live for in a game like this (sit back & watch the chaos with minor intervention) "The land is a dangerous place. Virtually all the prime spots are surrounded by serious dangers. The good news is, they won’t just run out and attack you normally. The bad news is, as soon a
anyone know if RavenX is still goin to do a draon lance mod?
the order that they come in makes no difference to me personally, just as long as they all get implemented at some point (so the majority of us that don't know squat about modding can make cool wolrds too)
I would like to have a race generator that I could use to make my own worlds with the races that I would like to have populating them. After several mentions on other posts I realized that I hadn't given any thoughts on how to go about this. Back in tha day, I remember playing a game that had diff. animals you would play & roam around attacking other types of animals, the cool part was that you could take say a lion & mix i
that pic sent chills of anticipation through me - "tha cave dwellers round these parts grow to enormous proportions due to the steady supply of mutated rats"
Oh Xander might should've started off with a club & padded armor
yes please, & I think this would be alot easier to implement than the multi-body type race generator I'm wanting, while offering the same kind of replayability (Have a faction gen., sovereign gen., map, race, quest, hero, wildland, spell, building, minor faction, Item, .......am I missing any)
Epic battles ftw. That's what you remember after playing, the wars and battles. Not the increase in production rate by +1 when you constructed some bloody building.
ya would like to have like 50 major factions with 3 minor faction per each major, this with the wildlands would make for a truely epic game (Would really be nice to have a detailed race builder that allows for different body styles & such, heck would be like a d&d realm Edit; ally with all three minor factions around you & it turns your lil kingdom into a massive alliance allowing a battalion or two of elves, lizardmen, & minataurs to join your ranks (th
A new book set in the Fallen Enchantress world would be cool as well.
uhm... would another book be the place to urge for additional race types? maybe a portal to Middle Earth?
yes, if I remember right it's like in rows of 5 going down, 5-10-15-20-25-28 or so (& when you make a bunch of custom factions to include in the game be sure to save your game at 'turn 1' so you can replay it or else all the customs factions turn to 'neutral' intead of being able to join in as kingdom or empire the next time you try to start a game using these same custom factions) hope this makes since edit: in the faction creater
"Now, there is also a new concept called the Wildlands. This is actually a new AI player that I’ve had to program that has been very interesting to do. The Wildlands control a portion of the map. Kill their leader and you get to colonize their awesome area and get to their fabulous quests and goodie huts (easier said than done). If you stand outside their “territory”, they won’t bother you. Walk into it and they will hunt you down." Any Dip
I commonly play with 28-32 factions depending on the build that's released (they all bug out after so many custom factions

And the more data the player gets to see, the more data I can let the AI see without “cheating”. No body likes a cheater
Just some things I do when I play, hope it helps. 1. When you build your faction/leader you might try picking the options that start you with techs (& bonuses to tech research) from the start, when your cities lvl, try picking tech only (or maybe a guardian unit, but never do this myself) -- This will help keep you above the curve 2. Make sure to customize your Sov with full set of armour starting off (maybe the boots that give move
after the continued support on this game & the hiring & full focuse on E:FE, I can only wonder what's instore for the 2nd 'Expansion', You have my oath that if you put in a multi-body type race generator I'll buy at least 5 additional copies for family & friends (Ofcourse I'm getting my copy for free). Just think of the replayability if people could 'create' there own minataurs, arachnid humaniods, Lizardmen, & othe
Just sweet seriously you should throw the trans-armor into the game, not sure bout the swellin Ogre though
