Open the xml found in your documents/my games/elemental/race folder. Change Neutral into Good or Evil (good for kingdom, evil for empires). Edit: It will not allow me to change the print from 'neutral', it's as though it's a read only deal - know how to pass this?

Double post
Bug (in versions b-c): I created @ 15 or so custom kingdoms/empires & started a game, it played with all factions I had selected to be in the game (@ 20-30 of them). 2nd game I started, my custom factions never showed in the 'join participating kingdoms/empires' screen in game setup. The problem did not fix itself after upgrading to version c
I'm starting to like your style Edwin99
Yeah, I don't think of the numbers being quite that large but I see the armies still being too large to accompany those going into certain areas, even a 'hundred' soldiers going into a small area would get pretty crowded
I too agree

AI was just about the only thing wrong with AOW:SM, the only reason I stopped playing that game (I had to really work my mind to figure ways when making maps to get around the ai's incompententcy so my friends could be challenged). Extremely happy to hear that this will be a major concern. Side note: I've played alot of space games & Galciv was by far my favorite but not till recently did I put two & two together and realize
Heh, oh sh*t, didn't notice that, well maybe will help others
While M.O.M. is one of the best games of it's type ever, don't forget AOW:SM. For it two was priceless (Just needed better ai & I would still be spending 1000's of hours playing & making maps for my 4-5 steady players/friends). A cross between the two is the game I hope to have coming. & I agree that hiring Paxton on was a GREAT move.
I play with as many other kingdoms/empires as I can, on previous version was limited to like 36 until the game bugged out, now I think it's 25 that I have (anymore buggs the game) Would like to have @ 3 minor factions per major added in, this plus the wildlands & such in E:FE would really allow one to have a 'huge' world to play on for months at a time.

Right now I'm around the year 200ac with 3 cities, one my capitol as gold producer only (lvl5), then two as tech producting cities (currently lvl 3 each). This game, I started off doing civics research (For housing and faster tech learning) only and was able to keep my 'faction power' rating above the two kingdoms next to me by doing this, therefore they never bothered me, next step after civics research I went into warefare research and was able to get all the armor up
It's because there is no such thing as a 'turning point' in most games. Your only real opponents are the AI, who are mostly inadequate to defeat a human player. There needs to be more, there needs to be something unexpected, something perhaps triggered by your empire's growing power, because after a point... there is nothing to do but mop up, and that is just boring. I'm not saying you should arbitrarily give
If you like any of these then feel free to use them Ok so you go into the random map generator, place a 'tiny' ant mound (Of 'red, black, army,or wood' ants) that if left alone long enough or kills enough food for the queen becomes an ant mound then a 'large' ant mound which allows the ants to split and produce additional mounds which continue on growing & spliting indefinatly or until defeated by nearby mound of same of different type of ants
yeah i think it would be cool if a group of monsters from a lair attack a town and if they destroy it, it becomes ruins and hence another lair! this way monsters could even take the world back over if they get lucky to get that one outskirt town that you didn't defend very well.
Yeessssss
Moved to proper post
Lookin good, just tell me I can turn the amount of wildlands on high so one might have to conqure several to get to another major faction (Minor factions would make great wildlands too) "Yes your majesty, I understand the mighty Kraxis Empire is growing in size & number, but they must first traverse the Lizardman infested marshes & the 'Forest of the Wild Elves' to reach us my lord." Oh, and I'm loving the constant posts, gives

Lu Bu's name sounds familiar to that text though the vernacular reference to his diminished manhood I do not recall Lu Bu played a major role during the end of the Later Han dynasty, he was known as the greatest warrior of his age, but also treacherous.
and dumb as a post on every game I've played
This is F*CKIN SWEET, oh & are these the ponies Lord Xia's been askin for the last 1/2 a year, he may have to change his pants
Great show, hooked on it, only upset first day had 3 episodes back to back & last sunday only 1 show, sorta upset me.
Thats it, & thank you for responding
Anyone know if there is (& I just don't know how) or will be a auto resolve option in tact battle that allows one to watch the computer take over your armies & battle the ai, I loved this in aowsm due to being too lazy to control evey battle myself but would still like to see the battles occur intead of just the results.
"Guardian" sorta makes me think permanant protector of the city. I like the idea of the guardian being bound to the city it's suppost to protect & possibly gets stronger as the city grows, would sorta work as a militia wich I believe all cities should have some sort of. I personally never use this option due to my one big city turtle style of play, it just pales in comparison to the % bonuses. (Just think a lvl 5 city could have a dragon living under it that you'
