Man this game be lookin fun "because interesting is in the eye of the beholder." - Sweet, their's gonna be beholders?!!!!!!!

"Does anyone know who's getting away with treason, and who's letting them? Grizzyloins, you never did say..." Those that take an oath of loyalty to a certain nation but then attempt to twist said nation in order to follow another agenda are the treasonous b*st*rds. I believe nearly all (a vast majority) of the members of our govenment (U.S.) and others, use their position to enhance their own agenda or the agenda of this or that organizatio

It pays to read carefully before rushing off at a tangent. As far as we know, Grizzyloins is correct. Everyone HE KNOWS that take food stamps..... So he knows a lot of 'crappy' people. That in itself is neither a crime nor a cause celebre to take him to task....
&n
"Repeat after me: There is no release date." There is no release date.
"We intend there to be multiplayer of up to 16 people. However, it is not a requirement. If it would result in a lot of resources being siphoned off from the single player experience or would, on its own, result in delaying the release, it’ll get cut." 16 isn't the max number of factions allowed? just the max number of human players allowed right?
I love it when games allow one to turn there own kingdom into ai to see how it fares once you've set it up, being able to take back the reigns at any given time. I strongly support multiplayer/hotseat, but if we get "griffin cavalry in addition to bears and seahorses" first then that's fine with me. I agree with Reply #64
I'd buy dlc - if the game's going to be a classic then the more content the merrier
"I just want to say thanks for not pulling out the tired elf and dwarf schtick. It takes far more creativity, and reaps far more benefits, when you can create truly unique, imaginative factions that don't rely on the cliches we've come to expect from a lot of fantasy worlds" I would like to see the 'cliches we've come to expect' as minor factions at some point for they have 'come to be expected' - perhaps since the 2nd book isn

Did you know: I was watching a special on possible epic disasters or something like that and they said that in the Reagan years they passed a 'bill' that allows a phantom government in a hidden location to declaire martial law & take over (In the US) in the case of all our governing peeps get knocked out by an attack - at this moment the constitution and all it stands for would be dead, and we would be lead by a government that was supposed to upkeep democracy but can be held
If one/a group is trying to take over the world, then what is the best way to do it? People throughout time tried by taking their countries & attempt to take out all the rest - has never succeeded (Kahns, Ceasars, Alexander, Napolean, etc.(except maybe once in the bible, can't remember the guys name but all nations under one law & one language allowing for total control - this God didn't want and so dispersed humans so that they would once again be seperate by langu
There is the general idea that seafaring will be something planned for future games. I would think we will see a basic implementation in FE and maybe some specialization in the following expansion. I really hope the idea catches on that crude ships can be fashioned by any unit and discarded upon arrival on new land as we saw in Civ5. The challenge should be to research more effective ships that can comprise a professional navy. There has always been
"It's been forever - surely Derek must've been beaten by the AI already. Let us know what happened!" Well I think they mentioned something about there being 'epic' battles, perhaps he's in a stalemate wizard battle
if we want more girls playin then simply tell them that they're not allowed, that it's a man's thing & women just can't enjoy playin a game this complicated: This would almost certainly bring more in just because they were told it wasn't for them (back in the day they were told they couldn't work - this was a great bit of reverse psychology just look at the work force today
Might be nice to be able to build/create new (weaker) champions from your cities, maybe produce a liutenant or captain that would have only half the bonuses and less stats of a normall champion or something. "This guy shows promise we'll promote him to lead the 5th army since we've run out of capable heros" I can't stand it when the ai runs out of champions in mid-late game
"and Shafer didn't dress up (Boo!)." Hangin's too good for'em, shootin's too good for'em, burnin's too good for'em, we should r*pe his dog, kill his wife, & bury'em up to his neck in ants (Or is this too good as well?)
Uhmm... Ok, so what's the constitution of that LumberJack & why is he weilding a 'short axe' (I've seen smaller ogres)? "Do you know how hard it is to command respect and obedience when you have flippers and smell slightly of herring! I don't think anyone heard anything I said in the morning meeting." - I remember Dire Penguins in aow:sm, they had glowing red eyes & had a life stealing ability (N
gotta love how you guys share with us
"It's my firm belief that acting (attacking) MUST defeat defense (being passive), otherwise the incentive to attack is lost." I think of Troy with the great walls, couldn't be taken.... Untill someone came up with a clever way to get around the 'Legendary' defences. I think it depends on how much effort is spent into either attacking or defending that makes the difference. If I spend the whole game building up my '1 big city' then I w
"One other suggestion: allow defending armies to pin attacking armies for a turn if they can hold them off for x number of turns, with the battle continuing into the next turn. This would allow decent-sized defender stacks to hold off stacks of doom for a while until reinforcements come in. The ROTK game for the Saturn did this. On the next turn, the attacker has the option of retreating or continuing the attack. (any reinforcements are added on)
Quoting Heavenfall, reply 46I'd like to take the opportunity to turn the scenario around. This sort of focused army invasion is exactly what the AI should be doing to you. Now, obviously I don't know the full circumstances, but in E:wom a big problem was that the AI never seemed to amass that "killer army" themselves and invade you. My point here is that this isn't just an AI weakness, it's an "issue" with game design.
I am planning on making capital cities invincible until the endgame as a possible strategy. Will the AI be able to be adjusted to a defensive strategy? Some AIs should steamroll or die trying. Others will likely go for defense and try to fortify a rich piece of territory. I just want to make sure that the number of personalities is not hardcoded like it was in GalCiv2. I would like to be able to make new ones.
</
"I don’t even know what this is, new today. Cool!" An arena that allows all factions to participate in with one champion every 25 years (100 turns) with the winning faction getting a diplomacy bonus untill the next contest & a prized item being rewarded to the champion along with some 'champion of the turny trait'? Or maybe a turny for Both Kingdoms & Empires? " General Krull of the Kraxis, champion of the turny, leads the
