what i would like is the same number of points available per level (example: 3) for example str is 2 to upgrade, essence is 3 to upgrade etc. i will take a closer look at those xml.. so much paperwork lol i'm going to put a second copy of teh game on my hard drive to play with. you could probably make the ai use it by altering the list of units it would build and assigning it a higher priority but im not sure if you could make it use special abilities or spells unless you can hook it into the ai. But i can only say that based on how i think it works, not on how it actually does... I think you can roll back the mana feature back to non global mana but i wouldnt want to if i can't change the way level ups occur, which is a problem. I can't mod the

I believe his point is, just in case you overlooked it, is that it is really hard to find caravans that you have sent out to a city only to find out you already sent one there so you need to send it to somewhere else. I don't think he meant the caravans that are travelling back and forth between cities generating gold. I remember reading that the the fix was to stop the call of titans spell from bring EVERY caravan along to the party.

The problem with this is that you have to remember that each player (human and ai) can do this. Not that they will, but that they CAN and if they all open up the techs taht is a LOT of resources that are added to the playing field. There are already random resources spawned in the map in a given area,you just have to explore and look for it. If the techs open up the amount of resources that your suggesting won't that be FAR to many to appear in the map if every player (human and ai)
