Hi HF - just finished a game with Frostgiants with insane world difficulty and AI expert. Epic early game - tons of fun, lost a city, multiple sov and hero deaths. I see what you mean as being overpowered late game - the trained units were tearing through AI armies. If Brad can get the AI strategic offensive spells working (and AI factions ganging up on me) it would have been more competitive late game. Now on to centaurs! Your faction balance seems fine to me - no input there. Well done

I generally hit up Civics, Leatherworking, go grab some roads to link my cities, and then a balanced approach across all 3. It is kind of situational depending on the set of circumstances. I generally do not make it to end game techs because the game is over by then. That has more to do with ACT III and the entirely quick way of disposing with AI factions.

Thanks, Brad. Further food for thought: Using tremor as an example, if the AI has enough mana they could effectively stun lock a player stack in their domain. This could be countered with an appropriate cooldown phase (in game currently) or the ability to dispel the negative enchantment (currently not in game). In the various games I've played I don't think I've ever seen the AI cast these spells. Once the switch happens to war, it seems predictable: declare war, AI throws everything but the kitchen sink, I dance with their stacks in my domain... but when I enter their domain they never cast those nasty spells that I'll use on them when they're in my territory. Thought so, thanks. Just FYI - my current game with your mod and the latest build is THE most fun I've had with this franchise to date. The early game is proving to be extremely dangerous, with multiple battles lost, my original conclave city destroyed, and I can't get the hero steamroll going thus requiring me to train units and supplement my army with beasts using the Frostgiant's beastlord perk. Super fun. Time to put on some Iron Maiden and jam on.

HF - is it possible to upgrade the FrostGiant cloak on trained units? I imagine the answer is no because we already currently can't upgrade 3 man parties to 5 but wanted to verify. Thanks.

Brad - I'm using more normal units now which is great but I'm noticing the AI would rather beat up on my tank unit who is defending (and also has the +5 defense trait) rather than try to kill my dps squishies. They need to aggro my dps!

As someone who diligently reported graphics problems and crashes throughout the entire post-release EWOM and since FE beta began, I can attest that the performance is vastly better. EWOM original engine stability was comparable to seeing Roseann Barr dance gangnam style at a nudist colony. FE is now pleasant on the blood pressure. The world feels so much more dangerous. Playing insane world difficulty with expert faction AI (also playing HF's mod as FrostGiants). Sov has been offered cheese with his whine 3x. The first hero I hired is crying to his mama about multiple wounds. Turn 56. After EWOM and previous FE builds, I'm getting a complex and may need therapy. Brad/Derek - I'm QQin'. Good job!
