If I purchase a second copy of Elemental on my Impulse account, can it be played at a residence that isn't mine while I play my copy here? Thanks.

I haven't bothered with horses since the initial release as they didn't seem to get you anything of real value for the cost. Has this changed?
Discussing it here will sorta ruin the story for any future buyers, won't it? Are the other books already written and just awaiting editing or do you need to write them yet?
It's an inappropriate comparison to going out to a movie or buying dinner. You need to compare the games to other games, same market.
Entertainment is entertainment. You have the right to do whatever you like, I'm merely pointing out that you place a pretty low value on entertainment and more importantly, your own time.
Frustration is fine and all, but if you haven't gotten $50 worth of fun out of this game yet, you're pretty cheap. And I make cheap people look like tycoons throwing away their money on booze and cheap . There was plenty to be mad about with the game; they've done better, and seem to be continuing to do so. I wouldn't call it a 'must have' game...yet, but if you seriously didn't find $50 of fun in this thing to date, you value your time very lit
To be honest I'm starting to wonder more and more about how food is going to be generated now that caravans won't produce them. Are we going to have buildable farms in cities again?
I was surprised this took so long in this thread for somebody to mention. Outside of faster travel for troops, what's the point? The two games I've played have been loaded with areas dense in all resources BUT food with only a few having food near enough
I just installed off impulse and started the game and the added Sovereigns are there. I don't have any idea where/how to find the other content, including the map. A simple readme file would have been helpful to explain where we should see the changes. I got the BB content too, but I presume that's buried in the tech tree somewhere.
I haven't actually PLAYED any of the new content, but when I tried loading a new game and had to pick my Sovereign, they were in the list of selectable characters. HTH
I checked, and he DID have a scout on Auto-Explore. Hopefully this opens a path for investigation with Stardock! Thanks!
I don't even know HOW to use auto-scout, but maybe the guy I was playing with did. I'll check. Thanks!
Ok, then we're on the same page. I'm all for everyone being able to plan out at the same time, I just don't want to be tied to another players decision to pass.
That's like getting up and kicking over the chess board because it's taking to long for the opponent to strategize.... I understand some people want a fast game, sometimes I do too, but I'd rather see people given enough time to think out their moves a bit more.
I haven't loaded anything into the game yet, but on the PC I entered the code on, I did get to the screen that lists the content. Thanks Brad!
This was answered here: https://forums.elementalgame.com/392121 I used my order number and it worked to get me to the page. I haven't tried to get the items into my game yet though.
Since you brought up pain... This 10 second timer thing either needs to be per game adjustable or needs to go all together. If another player simply wants to hit "Next Turn" and I'm trying to stage several events, I'm hosed if I can't make everything happen in 9 seconds. Also, I got locked up in my game where I couldn't end a turn at all. I could click on all sorts of things, but I could NOT progress the turn. 20 minutes later, I just quit. I don'
Thanks Brad, I'll try that tonight!
I couldn't end a turn which resulted in having to quit, and before that, I found the 9 second turn ender annoying as hell.
Yes, but said arrangements haven't been disclosed that I can find...
So, I've asked in a number of threads now, and nobody is replying....Are Kindle users NOT going to get a code then? Anybody?
Where do those of us that bought Kindle editions or the likes get our codes?
Kind of hypocritical since your entire stance is that "Stardock turned it off so we can't do it." Considering that they never said why they turned it off or that they would never turn it back on, that is an equally valid argument... using your logic.
My stance is that they didn't put it in the game. Period. Where is the information that what is shown in that screen shot is built into the the game but merely turned
It is speculation, I said "was deemed not-doable for whatever reason". I never claimed to know the reason, I stated WHATEVER reason doesn't matter, they came to a different end than their plan. As to validating or invalidating, I HAVE read the entire painful post and the OP has chimed in with words to the effect of "you can't deny the numbers of people that want this". Well, based on the thread, that number is small in comparison to that of the overall ownership and even forum members
Huh, I bought the Kindle version and forgot all about the added content. So, as asked above, how does that happen?
I told my parents I would fly by simply flapping my arms one day. Imagine the relentless badgering I still receive well after I understood something I had hoped would come though didn't. Things change, realities emerge. Wanting something doesn't make it so. It doesn't matter what he said whenever ago, it apparently was deemed not-doable for whatever reason, being it scaling, balance, time or budget. The reason simply doesn't matter anymore. I never even looked at my box, but i
To add to Fal's response, it is also not an all-or-nothing thing. They can take -some- things from Civ and they can ignore other things from Civ. More than that, it's likely that whatever they take from Civ - be it mechanics, ideas, influences, AI code, or whatever - it's very likely that they will change and tweak it to suit what they (Stardock) wants and needs. As a matter of personal preference/pride/creative input, and becau
