I would give your Sarcasm a big FAIL!
Oooooh, you got me good there! Here's the part where I fall into a depression and cry that mommy wants me because some random 1 or 0 in the world didn't approve of what I wrote and tried dinging me with a trendy word..........Whaaaaaaaaaaa! Or not.

Good Golly Ima gonna get my recipies! Ok, in all seriousness, I'm having trouble keeping up. In one thread you state CIV is a COMPLETELY different game and really shouldn't be compared to Elemental (which I agree with) and now here you're on board with ideas people have extracted from watching CIV movies. There is no way in hadies I'm going to presume to understand your job Brad, but while I think it's great that you want to put some ideas from players into your
If I could add: I've noticed the definite lack of ways to organize my recipes. I mean, really......I've got Aunt Fran's Pot Roast and Mrs. Teutenhaur's apple bake mixed right in with Mr. Frankenshweitzer's Kraut recipe. This madness has to stop, and you can only imagine my disgust when I installed Elemental in place of CookPro 7.3 only to find a complete lack of acceptable ways to organize my Jello salads. Does anybody know if this is going to make it into 1.0.9
I stumbled on the goodies earlier this afternoon when the menus were hosed up. VERY nice stuff, but laying out the hierarchy of the tech and empires is a very good one! As to the question about DL content, it was stated earlier that all DL content will be released to EVERYONE 90 days after it is released to those that bought "x". So, whatever I get for buying from BestBuy others will have 90 days later. Stardock apparently gave up some pretty good coin for that to happe
I'm NOT looking to start a flame war here and frankly am fine with you guys doing whatever you want with your forum. I'm just noticing a housekeeping issue I guess. If the intent in not allowing replies to certain threads in the developer forums is to not have comments on the remarks isn't it a bit counter productive to copy the entire post into a new thread and then let people reply? Wouldn't it be easier to keep the topics in one spot rather than essentially cross pos
I've mentioned this before but it hasn't been confirmed nor denied: When I established a caravan between 2 cities (one with -3 food and one with +8 food) the food levels went to -4 and +9 respectively. I have theorized that the multiplier is unaware of the original number being negative and therefore food improvements actual increase the negative amount produced. I've only played one game and hadn't been brave enough to raze one of my irrigation systems yet to s
Was that the PET?
I don't think it was clearly stated here, but the Commodore VIC 20 was the machine that used tape before the C64. C64 COULD use it, but most everyone used the 1541 drive on the 64. I still own my 64 with the 1702 monitor and the 1541 drive. (all in original boxes too.....**cuts another notch in the geek pole**) Anybody recall the Coleco Adam? Talk about nightmares.....
I see what you are saying, but if in fact I'm getting a negative muliplier My net gain here was zero. Sort of like me spending 200 gold to build a construction yard for a 25% increase in construction speed but forts still take the full 20 turns.
That's sort of what I was hinting at without trying to raise a holy stink about potential bugs as seems to be so popular these days...
I rebuilt on a razed city, and while I didn't get my orchard back, I could build another lumber mill on the old destroyed one and another mine on the old destroyed one. **shrugs**
I established a caravan from a town with +8 food to one with -2 Food which resulted in a town with -3 food and one with +9 food. I haven't seen the caravan since I established the route, but every now and then when I click on the city I snag the 'trader' stat screen and it does seem they are traveling as the road improvemet bar is increasing. So how come the city with the food shortage didn't benefit at all?
So....what is the bonus content? I got a message saying it would be delivered later in the week....but I'm not noticing anything different...
On the floor of Tokyo Or down in London town to go, go With the record selection And the mirror's reflection I'm dancing with myself When there's no-one else in sight In the crowded lonely night Well I wait so long For my love vibration And I'm dancing with myself Oh dancing with myself Oh dancing with myself Well there's nothing to lose And there's nothing to prove I'll be dancing with myself<br /
I thought the new DVD was just a new 'Gold' edition for stores so the game needed less patching out of the box. I'm fairly new around here though, so I probably missed something somewhere. (that never happens.......right?)
Anything lunge out at anyone? Thanks for your time!
Nope.
I admit to restarting the game twice before figuring out what in hadies was happening to my sovereign. Took me a bit to figure out that red dots were units and blue dots are buildings too. (I think...)
Drat. I sent you a PM with the link before I saw your reply. I'll also post it here for the record: http://drop.io/gugkhwr/asset/elemental1-06-2010-08-29t20-47-37-62-zip
There was a dump zip, that's where the debug file came from. You want that posted here? Is there a way to post attachments on this board or do I host that elsewhere as well?
I know there is a lot going on, but anything on this?
Twice now, when in a battle with higher level armys (Once in town, once out) I have tried to summon a Sand Golem at the last second to save my rear. Well, I saved it alright because it hangs at a black screen for a second and then puts me back at the desktop with a windows error which I have been too frustrated to look at. (yeah, dumb on my part, I know....) From the event log: Event Type: Error Event Source: Application Error Event Category: None Event I
