Well, there is a squad that I run into, scion squad that had this sword
I think they only have karrazan----not elementium karrazan---not that I really wait around to find out, Scions are a pain---priority kill.

I do use auto resolve from time to time. It is a little annoying when the AI uses mana unnecessarily but I can generally deal with that. I auto resolved a battle with a hero of 25 mana, a catapult, 12 knights at 54 att & 54 def, & 8 archers with 66 att/12def. Spellcaster is at level 11 with most available spells. Even though I faced a company of idk--150 attack/80 def I'd have no problem if I managed the fight myself-- throw a confusion spell, maybe a freeze and whittle the company do
SWEET! Muchas Gracias. Very cool.
I get married as soon as possible every game
How fast is that? How many factions? I generally get married within the first 20 turns or so. Kids come around turn 150. I prefer not to marry off daughters if I can help it cuz I give up a channler. If you have sons and 10 factions, you can build a bigger family quicker by bringing daughters into your family. Do you imbue alot of heroes? I do and that really bolsters the magic aspect of my army. What's the most amount
I think n00bonian was just pulling your leg Black-Knight.
LOL. I think he is too [e digicons]:D[/e]
Its an expensive piece of shit.
ROFL. I was hoping that wasn't case but thanks for confirming!
Looks awesome! Can't wait!
I think you should get it. This was the first time I ever bought a game on the release date. Yes, it has been frustrating at times but NEVER a lack of fun. I have been playing solidly since 8-24. I love 4x games (lol not even sure what that stands for...). I don't have a penchant for breaking down everything to the last detail. I just love to play. I figure out best strategies an plug on. CIv, X-comm, Birth of the Federation, AOW, Command & Conquer...if y
You know how in the later game you have difficulty remembering what city specs in what as they level? (Hell I have trouble after three citie
Yeah me too. I did notice that when a city levels up you can see the stats below. That way you can make an informed decision without having to keep track. The update that lists cities like colonies in GalCiv is pretty handy too.
For example, my own persona has been filled with the perception that I’m a “control freak”.
I realize that there is a great deal of assumption due to perception; control freak is not something I associated with the CEO of Stardock. Any CEO worth his mettle knows to surround yourself with the best and let them do their jobs under the guidance of communal vision---something at which, I believe SD excels. I have always despised micro managi
I just saw the game today in a store, and it looked interesting. I enjoy RPG and Strategy--the Spellforce franchise was magic! But, before emptying $50 out of my wallet I decided to check the reviewers. To summarize they say: * Good game. * Released before it was ready. * Lacks polish. * Lacks continuity and storyline, and * is VERY buggy. But--they all liked it!
I love RPG. It never occurred to me
Has anybody found an effective use for the Elementium Karrazan sword? I don't recall the 12K price-tag. In previous versions it was 1200 which I thought high for what it actually did. Maybe I'm expecting a cross between Excalibur & a light saber? I don't remember the last time I had 12K to blow in this game. If I did, I would presumably be powerful enough at that point to win the game without that sword.
To the place where you met the dragon (ancient dungeon). You can scroll out your map to spot it easily.
HA! got it! Finally. I wasn't able to do it the first time around. I haven't hit the 6k or even 3k. Is the Empire economy superior to kingdom? Anyway, I'm a much better position with kingdom than I would be with empire right now. thanks.
To the place where you met the dragon (ancient dungeon). You can scroll out your map to spot it easily.
Yup, no prob. Thanks. I did that and the Dragon says he's gonna join me but hasn't after 2 turns. Does he take awhile or did I miss a step?
I have no experience with modding but want to learn. Any recommendations on how I should start?
while i don't use any other units beside quest dragon
Ok, so far so good. I have the egg but am having trouble figuring out where to take it.
Getting resources from mines and cities are far inferior compared from adventuring, by turn 100 cities alone won't give 4k-6k gold, while adventure made it seems so easy to get 6k gold at turn 100, same with the other resources.
Hmm...sounds pretty good. You're right about pillaging the other cities--that's pretty advantageous. I will definitely give kingdom another look. Just to verify, you have 6 thousand gilder at turn 100? That alone is appealing. My current game is
Well, mine was very unusual compared to the rest. I play on large map, ridiculous difficulty, full enemy factions, and i prefer kingdom over empire. I'm curious--why kingdom over empire? I prefer empire because the specialized units seem more powerful. I played kingdom and while the dragons & Drath warriors are bad ass, I found the shrills & spiders not be very effective offensively.
Magic is one of the best parts of this game. Fire spells with corresponding shards will greatly enhance the power of your armies. It what I usually use to wipe out enemy archers.
There is great post by phazonfreak that addresses many beginning strategies. You should really check that out. Like Jandurin, I go for food and gold first. I try to expand aggressively toward any other resource I can get. Crystal & iron are next on my list. Crystal does not produce very rapidly so the sooner you get that the better. I also constantly fight to level up my sovereign--more mana for more spells and to imbue heroes. I also marry my sovereign as soon as possible.
Said with love, of course. I just don't want him to pull a Robert Jordan and die on us seeing as, unlike R. Jordan, he doesn't have pretty much the rest of the story mapped out in manuscripts... so someone would have to finish it with what they "think" is in his mind. I can tell you, food, fighting and f*cking. Good luck trying to finish a book on that!
Yeah, I was devastated when I found that out. I discovered him later in his career so I had li
Yeah, I think so--looks like she is with some Dothraki.
Ah, that makes sense. Sometimes I get too attached to my Civ4 tactics--I like cities spaced so they don't over lap for resources but I have found that isn't necessarily the way to go in this game. The ASL avatar brought back fond memories. What a great game. Thanks for the link--like I don't spend enough time playing games [e digicons]:D[/e]
I know there's a lot of (legitimate) complaints on the forum regarding Elemental and in typical intarwebz fashion, it's usually expressed in the most crass and melodramatic fashion possible. I'm a player who was disappointed by numerous things about Elemental's release and put the game on hold after 1.06. I've told myself that I was going to wait until 1.1 before giving the game a go again, but after seeing the 1.09 patch I decided what the
over 100?? what turn on you on? how much crashing are experiencing at that level? Difficulty? I just dumped a 49 city 512 turn game because mathematically it was only a matter of time for me to win and the game would crash every 10-15 turns or so. You don't manage all those cities hands on do you? I have found that around 40 cities with all the requisite resources you are sitting well enough to use a good percentage of cities for continuity/teleport hub as you mentioned. 100? wow. how many ho
