Why do you find random maps crap? Just curious, I play nothing but large random maps, and for a while I've even stopped re-rolling.

I'm looking forward to ships. I looked forward to ships in Total War games for a decade, and now Naval combat is awesome. I hope than in a few more decades, Creative Assembly will even make an AI that handles naval invasions flawlessly. (As opposed of naval invasions being the easiest way to crush an enemies' armies in Legendary Shogun 2) So, give Brad and Stardock some time. I am sure they WANT to have good ships in the game. As for dynasties, I do n
Yes, of course. If you use blindness on a lucky level 15 sovereign with discipline, he will still be hitting you a lot, especially if you are not using a high dodge unit. I find blindness a smidgeon too good now (it should expire in combat, after a few turns) but it is not a 'I win' button. It never was, really. Dodge used to be too good, now it's balanced.
Yes. We should have more ranged staves, and every mage level should give a tiny, but STACKABLE bonus to ranged staff damage. Like 1 or less per path.
Blindness seems to not be working, as reported by another user.
Are you sure about this? I tried it myself since I read Kongdej's post, and it was working for me, as evidenced by both the detail screen and by my sovereign dodging all attacks until his riposts killed all the enemies. And I 've used it a lot since release, and there've been no updates.
My mages have no spells to cast. I thought that they were able to attack from a distance. Do they need to level up before gaining spells or perhaps I need to research a prerequesit?
Champion mages may not have any tactical spells at low levels. For example, an "Earth Apprentice". Level him up to get stuff like "Shockwave". Trained troop mages have a ranged attack with their staves. That's all they get.

I do reload while I'm learning to play a game... but once I feel that I know what to expect, I have more fun playing without reloading. But to each his own. My enjoyment is in no way affected by how other people enjoy their games. That said, I hate games where you cannot succeed without reloading. Fortunately, Fallen Enchantress is not one of them. As for Ironman mode, I do not need one, especially as Fallen Enchantress is not bug free enough to rely on o

Can you be a bit more specific? If it covers everything, then I should just drop this experiment, the job is done. But does it cover any questions about roaming monsters giving AI pioneers a free pass? Does it affect how long it takes Big Beast to wake and whom they target?

If I was in charge I would do this: The store belong to an ally: knock yourself out, but you're paying 10% more You have a NAP with the owner: everything but faction specific items is for sale, with a 25% surcharge You have positive relations with the owner: you can buy stuff, but with a 50% tax You have negative relations with the owner: you are using the black market, 100% price hike
