there have always been champion NPCs. just another variety of monster.
the point is that hunting monsters is now pointless. it was bad enough before due to the slow pace of tactical battles. i stopped playing this game 2 weeks ago because i was sick of spending so much time on a single battle. now the reward has been drastically cut? absolute bs. now there is no way to fund an army or equip your champions. maybe i am wrong. maybe they added something later in the game to compensate. i will never know, becau
