I had this same problem last night. Late in the game I couldn't end my turn and I couldn't move any units on the map. All I could do was cast spells. I assumed the game was just running out of memory or something so I saved and closed it up for the night. This morning same thing, can't move anyone, can't end turn. I play with cloth map only so I didn't notice any running animations but I don't believe my units moved throug
I haven't seen this but it could be linked to the army size the town and support. I don't recall all the army techs and buildings but there might be one you're missing to allow a city to hold that many armies.
I've had great luck revitalizing the wilds. You seem to just have to clear out all the monster dens, then the hostile territory goes away and you can resettle.
They weren't disappearing on a game i just played either, but simply walking a unit over them on the next turn destroyed them.
I've had the computer city push my outpost out once they built a city next my outpost and I've built cities next to computer outposts and pushed out their influence. The result looks just like what you're screen shot displays. Thus far, haven't had a computer build actively come into my domain and build though.
I haven't had a crash yet due to alt tabbing. However, my task bar does stay up when i load the game, which shoves the game screen down and makes it difficult to play unless I use the "auto hide toolbar" function, which is equally irritating for everything else.
Same has happened to be me, three times now (I like to be thorough when corrupting my save files). Every time I get the legendary armor from the arena it corrupts the file. Lesson learned... you don't need legendary armor. It's, obviously, the devil.
I think I've figured out the glitch in the system, now it just needs to be addressed. I'm using a custom faction based off of Tarth so I start with the exploration tech. It seems when I play the game as other factions I don't have the recruiting problem. I haven't tried a game as Tarthan default but that seems to be the problem.
I've played through twice and both times there are a couple items that I'm pretty sure you're just supposed to sell for small amounts of gildar... Demon Horn and... I cant remember the other because I hadn't even thought of posting about it when it happened. Anyway, you can go to your character screen and 'use' them instead of selling them but it doesn't have any apparent effect and the item disappears thereafter. I dont know if it's doing something
Have the same thing in my game, although, in my game Mantle isn't reducing the cost of my sovereigns spells, only the first hero I cast it on.
Ihad the same bug after going into a cave that was filled with fire elementals. came out, there were monsters everywhere, about 5 in the water and they never move and since they are in the water, you can't engage them.
Having the same issue, although in the newest game I played, he didn't even have his mount anymore and I'm deep in enemy territory, so I couldn't even try to spare him by getting him safely to a town without taking my whole army over there. I supposed not that it matters since his stats are 0 and 0
I started a new game in .77 last night and was excited to get the Berzerker axe today but quickly traded it in. My hero that I've been focusing accuracy on never got a second hit after about 10 battles. It's definitely not overpowered in .77 though I will agree in .75, which I had been playing it was a bit ridiculous. I also took out an elemental lord in 2 rounds.
I finished the tech tree on recruiting heroes/adventures with Breon's Letters and I still cant recruit level 9 heroes. It was the same for each step. When I had Ereog's Journals, couldnt recruit 7s and when i had recruiting couldnt do level 5's. So now I'm stuck not being able to get level 9's even though I'm done. Not particularly a big deal to me but, figured it should be pointed out if anyone else is having the problem.
Agreed, within 10 turns I had a faction die off this morning and within another 100 or so another faction. I've only encountered two factions so far in my game on a medium map and 3 others I wont because they've died off.
During the tournament quest, I went through and spared Pralius. When I go to the map screen, he's a level 1 character (9 or 10 in the tournament), and all his equipment is gone, which is all well and good and probably better, but I can't trade any of the items my heroes have to him, nor can he visit the shop. His attack and defense stats are 0.
