[Bug][0.77] "Pralius" is not a Champion

I fought Pralius in the 2nd round of a tournament quest and won.  After the battle I got the prompt that to continue i had to kill Pralius, and he pleaded with me for his life, so I thought, well I could always use a new hero.  So I bailed out of the tournament and sure enough I had a new (green) hero in my army.

Except, he has no weapons or armor, is level 1, and I cannot imbue or trade or shop with him.

Having the same issue, although in the newest game I played, he didn't even have his mount anymore and I'm deep in enemy territory, so I couldn't even try to spare him by getting him safely to a town without taking my whole army over there.  I supposed not that it matters since his stats are 0 and 0

Same here and there is also another quest involving slavers where a hero joins you (forget his name but he's red!) and he is the same.  Looks like you have to collect a rainbow of pointless hero's - maybe a master quest of some sort? :P

Same, it was disappointing. The NPC obviously had his equipment for the fight itself, but immediately after he turned into a lvl 1 with no equipment  and without the ability to trade him any.

The next game I just killed him and continued on.
