1.1 is ok, nice work, the game is on a really good way . . . But i miss the initiative system in tactical battles, that would make the tactical battle more exciting. Races - yes, they are very similar, actually there are only two "races" at present. But I don't want elves, dwarfes, orcs. . . I like this game, because it is different. I tried to play on challenging world against ridiculous AI, but when i load the game i can check the settings. And i discovered that the AI level was challenging either. After some attempt it seems, that you can't have higher AI level than the world level. You can adjust the level, but in the saves you can check the settings and you will see, that the AI level isn't as high as you determined. Or the displayed settings are wrong???
"The order of tactical battles" e.g.: my sovereign is the first (casts 2 spells), my wife the second (casts two spells), then the stone giang, the fire elemental . . . and when all my units moved comes the enemy . . . ups . . . where is the enemy the enemy army can have any number of chanellers, they have no chance if i have some spellcaster unit without initiative it isn't a real tactical battle, its a slaughter

In a game for 60 turns i didn't do anything. No building, no adventuring. Everybody hated me because of my week military, but nobody attacked me. At the 100th turn there was only one nation (from seven) who had greater army than me. So the game is TOO EASY. (And this was on ridic level.)
Why do we need to TRAIN pioneers? Pioneering is one of the greatest challenge to the AI. And in this game the AI has to choose between a lot of oportunity which leads to very different effects. So free the AI from pioneering. (My last game i gave myself a great handicap. For 60 turns i didn't do anything. I built my first outpost and my sovereign slept there for 60 turns. No building, no adventuring. At the 60th turn every nation hated me because of my week military. But nobod
Don't forget that there were Civ I, Civ II, Civ III, Civ IV. And Civ I was released in 1991. So they had enough time to polish the AI. I think we don't have to wait 20 years to get a challenging AI. Let's give the developers a bit more time.
If we want more challenging game it is good idea to increase the creation time of pioneer. But this case the AI needs more time either. To ballance it we can add plus pioneers to the AI. For example: on difficulty levels higher than normal the AI begins the game with one settler, on ridiculous 2 settlers. But this case we need to force the AI sovereign to built the first city before his pioneer build, because when the pioneer builds the city the sovereign lose its ability to build ano

I never use this option. The game is very easy, so neglecting it gives a bit more difficulty. I know, this isn't a real solution. Waiting for better AI. Fighting, building, traiding . . .
