Game features are already locked. There's just some balancing, lots of bug fixes, maybe some UI changes. That's all that will happen. If you don't like it, my best advice to you is to learn to mod. Lots of things you can do, that way, and Brad's promised us some very nice modding tools upon game release. Even now, there are some modders out there who do very interesting work.

If you're everywhere, you're very susceptible to a focused strike. Why is it necessarily brittle? A bigger empire means more money and resources to pay for troops, and so more troops to defend a bigger frontier.
Because a lot of the time you're putting up outposts rather than cities, and

You see? He's omniscient. That's what happens when you turn into a modder.
I believe Heavenfall's mod adds several. You might ask him if he has any plans of increasing their number and variety.
Fastest way to check for that update and download the right content (for non-steaversion owners) would probably be the Stardock Central
Fastest way would be to keep an eye on this forum, since Brad's stated a changelog will be up as the next beta gets closer. No changelog, no beta.
Ok thanks; when i cast it i don't remember seeing a portrait but will try again as soon as I have the spell (again - in a new game). Or just move a champion onto that territory, and Shop. In theory, that should work.
It's not as though manual installation takes more than fifteen seconds.
Bash chance is equal to the damage done. I was doing 9 damage and they were doing upwards of 20 damage. I am going to rebalance Mace now that I realize how powerful Bash can be. Currently it takes no metal, in one-handed, does -6 Init, has 16 damage and the AI always chooses it because it has the maximum sum of damage. I need to make the Mace do less damage and cost some metal. Trog's special axe should be their go to choice, w
By teleport, you mean the Cloud spell, correct? If you have more than one unit that can cast this, after clicking on it you'll need to click the portrait of the unit you want to cast it, and then click Cast. Then you click on a location in your territory. (Watch for occupied squares. It's best to click outside buildings, and then move into the city, if that's what you want to do.) That unit and the other units it's traveling with will teleport.&nb
I may have missed it, but did you ever track down why the AI was so successful at bashing with its units? It seemed excessive.
We've had numerous threads about how the magic system can be made better. Each one is different, and each time many people come forward to say how wonderful the changes would be. Seems to me everyone has their own way of improving magic in FE. Several of these amount to a complete overhaul of the way magic is conceived and put into practice--which would mean several steps back into early beta for Stardock. It isn't going to happen. There&
At this point, I have to agree with Parrotmath. If no registrations are found on the www.elementalgame.com site (*not* stardock.com), then your best recourse is Stardock Support. As you have proof of purchase, the matter should be resolved pretty quickly.
Try this. Go to https://www.elementalgame.com/. Click Games/Fallen Enchantress. Click Downloads. Now, either it should either ask you to login, or offer a button to download. What do you get?
There isn't any queue. Log in, go to the Dowloads page, and download the beta. Install, and that's it.
@Glazunov I'm sure he could do this on a big map too, all he needs to do is find the quest locations for the master quest - OK the statues might be spread around more but it wouldn't be much harder this way
All I'm suggesting is that on a large map the AI would have an opportunity to realize all the benefits from many of its traits. I like this. Very nice. Please, do expand it.
I take it back. ;) Had my sovereign reach Earth5, and there's no such spell listed for casting on the strategic or tactical map. I suspect it (perhaps Birth of Summer) was removed.
The next beta is supposed to have a ton of bugfixes in it. Brad commented on that a couple of weeks back.
As far as I know the system, you would have to win or lose the current tactical map. After that, the quest can start another encounter in any map it wants. So yes, you can have a dungeon with dozens of rooms as long as the player is willing to sit there for an hour and has a crap ton of healing nectars. The only limitation would be system taxing and memory leaks. Both of which are currently an issue.
Because of the Chi
You've obviously put some thought into this. Very nice. Apropos of nothing, I'll probably try to mod up at some point heroes who have great benefits and great drawbacks at the same time. There's a blandness to the vanilla game heroes--not in the accompanying text from each, but in the way they play out. I'd like to see one who has made a bad career choice at some point and fixed it, but is still struggling, or another that has an enormo
