how about customizing this? (or scrolling right if no simpler way is possible) There is a bunch of info needed to govern larger empires. - total production - food left - type of the city (fortress/town/conclave) - resources that can be upgraded (this actually, should be an information on the main screen, after researching technoogy, which resources can be upgraded) - minimap on the screen indicating position of the city on the map (the names los

he is not talking about quality/level just quantity. My guess he is rushing the units, with lots of cash, he might got from other players for declaring war on you or trading some resources for cash. Either way he pumps gildars into rushed units, with 5 cities, he can pump 5 units a turn, which if combined with the armies he got earlier, should be what you're seeing. I don't myself rush a lot, and if you're a player like me you spend your cash on buying leather for
Frogboy, you really need to stop doing this. [quote who="Frogboy" reply="1" id="3208907"] The monsters don't ignore the AI. There was a bug in beta 3 regarding FOW (the monsters didn't get their own but borrowed the player's which created that issue). But late Beta 3 and now Beta 4 addressed this. As the AI coder, I can assure you the AI gets whacked as much, if not more (because they're not always as careful as they sh
I thought, we are past those issues, we aren't so repost. 1. AI sovereigns favor warrior and assassin path over others. I might understood this when I took surrender from Tarth leader, but Resoln? She should go for the mage. I don't think there is an easy solution for custom sovereigns, but the predefined ones, should have most favored paths, pariden, resoln, are definitelly mage builds. Secondary, how this is happening, that AI sovereigns get two paths, when I can usually get
Nope, I put a debug.err in this forums and I've seen this particular error in at least four threads, with at least two having replies from Derek and Frog themselves. If they can't get it fixed, I don't believe support will.
@Kongdej: I am not trying to pick up the fight. I only tried to say, that Hound had a valid point in his first sentences. That reported bugs should be cleared. I have my own set of issues, that bothers me, but there are lots of us in the forums, that do not report balance issues, but technical ones (performance mainly). I am fully aware, that the world has changed since 1990, and multiple sets of hardware/os/drivers make it close to impossible, but I am affraid that it is the type of business
[quote who="ins2" reply="6" id="3207570"] 1. Recurring bugs - the game is still BETA, and you are comparing it to a MOD (which took several people several man-months to make) which was applied to a RELEASED and bugfixed game. Expecting the latest beta to have all the bugs resolved is premature. I will join you in protest if the game is buggy upon final release, but not yet. here: http://db.tt/U8eWTq6s - yesterday's dump probably been taken after the game crashed due to autolock http://db.tt/VJUyofy5 and http://db.tt/KQSdLGYw pictures taken in may but the problem is still the same.... Frog will it be taken care of?
This hasn't been corrected, so I guess it need to be reposted as it is still in place, and still frustrating :( I want my 3d models back from 0.85 as it is the last time I've seen them :( They are gone from sovereign creation screens, shop screens, unit creation and previews.... also this has not been fixed since ever (bug with laptop autolock) - original post here: https://forums.elemen
all right - I'm seeing it on all of my computers, but on this one it is most important: laptop Dell 6320 win 7 enterprise SP1, full screen on desktop resolution - 1366/768, 8GB RAM, processor Intel core i5-2520M @ 2.5 GHz integrated video card (Intel HD) I am also one of those that do not see 3d models ingame
Devs, at some point of this beta you really need to have this addressed. I know that this kind of issue is a little bit trademark of Stardock - I recall being unable to alt+tab in GalCiv II, but it has to end. The point of having turn by turn game is to be able to leave it at any moment when your wife is calling, or when boss come around and ask you to do something. Whenever I leave the computer long enough to have him autolock, hibernate (which is an unchangeabl
Under influence of multiple petitions from disgruntled monsters I've taken on to announce the rise of a formal political wing lobbying for Equal Opportunity for Monsters further known as EOM. A forming committee of a Bandit with a Dog, Black Widow and an Forest Drake we have immediately agreed on to discuss the manifest. The forming committee ended up to be just the Forest Drake (the remainign forming monster have been eaten), but the manifest was succesfully define
LOL - I am formally announcing a political wing lobbying for "equal opportunity for monsters".
Anyone encountered this? Might be my particular setup - but since 0.90 I can't see the 3d models of sovereign during Sovereign selection, and no models of monsters when clicked on to see detail. Unit design kinda lost it meaning... <img src="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/28216465/FallenEnchantress_1337541978.jpg"
Excellent suggestions.
I still read (I keep this page open and refresh few times a day, looking for changes in the last post - so I missed the question). I've to agree that you probably won by now, though I wonder if you'll be able to go against Gilden, so let's see at elsat until that point.
yep, felt the same, or rather break for advertisment watching you play - how much mana you generate? In my games, I always have rpoblem with gold or with mana, usually both, and you seem to be casting 40 mana monoliths left and right
Just wanted to support this. Actually I think that outposts should have that default militia as a defender, just like a starting city. It is not much, but combined with defense bonus, it should add to the defensive value of the outpost and make it more strategic element.
The depth of the story is excellent, and I throughoutly enjoy you staying in character. I refresh the page continously :)
Yep, me also, don't even think of abandoning this gameplay for some 0.914
Definitely go on :D, they game has still enough bugs, that it is not possible to avoid them all. Btw. You might post a picture on how Smiley looks right now.
Read the rules yesterday. Somehow I forgot about one city challenge. :)
Damn. That's what you get for too many refreshes while browsing from mobile.
