[0.915] bug with alt+tab

at some point of this beta you really need to have this addressed.

I know that this kind of issue is a little bit trademark of Stardock - I recall being unable to alt+tab in GalCiv II, but it has to end.

The point of having turn by turn game is to be able to leave it at any moment when your wife is calling, or when boss come around and ask you to do something. Whenever I leave the computer long enough to have him autolock, hibernate (which is an unchangeable for me due to company policy and set to some absurd low number of minutes) the game freezes.

 

I have autosaves set on one turn due to that and I am reloading but this take so long, that I often just quit. 

I know I am not alone in this issue, fix that.

You may want to put some notes in here with regards to O/S, memory, resolution, full-screen/window, etc. I play this game on my work computer and alt-tab in and out all day long with no problems with thunderbird, excel, quickbooks, and a few other programs all running. So it may a be combo you are using that is not playing nice with the game, and knowing what that is can only help them fix it.

all right - I'm seeing it on all of my computers, but on this one it is most important:

laptop Dell 6320

win 7 enterprise SP1, full screen on desktop resolution - 1366/768, 8GB RAM,

I am also one of those that do not see 3d models ingame
