I think it is perfectly reasonable as it is, maybe some balancing needed in the general mana numbers here and there, but the system itself is fine. First of all, you have a difference in cost for both types of summons, since you have to pay a mana upkeep each turn to keep the creature o
During tactical combat when I open the detail screen of any unit, the combat music changes to a regular tune. When I exit the detail screen the music fades again, but it doesn't fade back into the combat music. A minor thing with a big effect, because it undermines the atmosphere in a fight.

also see https://forums.elementalgame.com/416056 and https://forums.elementalgame.com/416179 As long as the bug has not been fixed and it keeps on coming try using auto resolve or auto play, that should prevent your city from disappearing.
I agree. Even though there are still significant issues that have to be adressed for the longevity's sake of the game (AI, city building, general balance), FE 0.76 is much, MUCH more fun than WoM ever was. And judging by the changes from 0.75 to 0.76 the improvements feel quite meaningful compared to the updates in WoM.
It is. Notice the number next to the crown symbol? That's the exp reward, so no need for bug report on that.

indeed, it seems you think that a city needs some of the bonus food resource, but any fertile land will do. The food resources improve on the food situation, but they are not mandatory to build a city. I didn't see less fertile land or food resource in the updated beta.
well, there could be some interplay between the stats of the sovereign and champions, but that would be too much I guess. Just the stats of the sovereign for a start.
I like it that sovereigns and champions have attributes. I really like that. I could think of interesting ways to utilize them to further expand on the rpg aspect of the game. I came up with an idea when I was doing some quests. It's something that is actually quite common in traditional rpgs and I think it could also work in FE, obviously there are other more pressing issues at the moment, but for future reference. You already encounter different options when solving some quests.
you are not the only one: https://forums.elementalgame.com/416056
When attacking with an equipped "Berserker's Sword" or "Berserker's Axe", the game freezes and does not respond anymore. It only happens when using a regular attack, the game does not freeze when activating an attack trait like "Gambler's Strike". I assume it ties in with the "Maul" ability that the weapons provide. I don't know whether there are any other Berserker set weapons, it might be that they are broken too.
ok, it happened again on the same savegame when I was fighting some spiders. It seems that the root of the problem is not the Heirloom quest and the butchermen as Ihfacny rightly stated in reply #5, but it is a general problem with tactical combat.
There have been discussions about certain overpowered spells and strategies (Impulsive+Fireball, Maul,...), but I haven't seen a thread picking up on the death spell "Graveseal". The spell itself is pretty killer, but that alone doesn't make it overpowered I guess, I actually like the spell. My problem stems from the fact that it is seriously overpowered on the cost/effect scale. For the oblivious among us, the affected target suffers constant critical hits from all attacks un

I've finished multiple games without reaching the end of any of the three trees.
I third that. As far as I can tell the tech trees and the bonus they provide are decent enough (even if balancing is still a big issue, especially considering the overpowered champions), the only gripes I have with researching is
It not only completely disappears in the game world (not just the buildings), but it also vanishes in the icon list. It's really like there is no city at all, because all the benefits the city provides (i.e. research) is also lost.
found them, thank you. I will send the email in a couple of minutes.
no, it only happens after fighting the butchermen in the butcherman's lair for the Heirloom quest and as long as I am not using auto resolve or auto play. I continued playing in the save after using auto resolve so that the city remains and the bug never occured again. Could you please tell me where to find the savegames? I had a look in my FE Beta folder but can't seem to find them.
It happened to me roughly 5 times since I have played the Beta. After tactical combat is finished in a totally different place away from the city, the city simply disappeared from the game like it never existed. I dug a little deeper and tried different options, I found out that it only happens when I actively do the fighting, but when I use the auto resolve or the auto play option the city does not disappear after combat. I have a savegame before I do the butcherman quest and I made a savega
The ones I witnessed so far are: the "Deadly Bite" ability of the two wolfes you get from the werewolf quest. There's always a 10 seconds delay. the "Titan's Breath" ability of the Air Elemental. Also roughly 10 seconds of delay.
I will say this: I'm amused by all the posts I'm seeing in various Civ 5 forums saying things like, "This will be an awesome game once they fix issue X, Y, and Z with a patch/expansion." But that's O.K. because it has Sid Meier's name on the box, so of course it deserves a top rating. If only Elemetal were so lucky. Also tried Civ 5 the last couple of days. As much as I want to love Elemental, but... Civ 5 is fun with a clear vision when it comes to design and with basic game mechanics that are actually working, although there are slight frustrations along the way (Combat AI, Performance, Diplomacy). Elemental is only fun at game setup stage and when dreaming about the vast possibilities of the game that fizzles quickly when the actual game starts and annoys you with a constant stream of frustrat
