Ok here i am again with a question regarding the actual acquirement of the game in europe (will wait a few weeks anyway till i have a new pc, might also mean that most of the childhooderrors/crashes/bugs and stuff are gone by then). I was intending to let someone else buy the game with a creditcard for me but then i was told about paypal. This seemingly allows you to pay through your bankaccount. When i click on purchase and elect paypal i do indeed find this option when i ask for more inform
Sounds great. I have decided to wait a couple weeks since then i'll have a new machine anyway. Added advantage has to be that some of the problems people are naturally encountering with a new release will be solved by then.
Ok so i never bought a game online before. Some questions. 1. I intend to get a new machine within the month. Any problems running the game on this and my new machine? serial keys and stuff? 2. I intend to buy from Europe with the box + digital download. Does this mean A ) both are necessary B ) i can download the game already through impulse and get it send home later? 3. maybe the most important! How long will it approx. take for the box to ship to Europe/Hol
Thanks Raven X, Really nice to get a nice clear view of the timeline. So far the first 3 chronicles came out in Holland and the first legends book... I also read the 3 with Mina/Gerrard etc like 50 years later when everyone but Laurana and Tasslehoff is basically dead. They came out like 8 years ago (earlier on i read loads of other books of weiss and hickman like deathgate / deathsword / one with dagnarus and the stone, not sure about english titles. So i picked up the dragon
Where there actually games on Dragonlance? I just read the original 3 books by Weiss and Hickman which were translated in dutch last year (25 years later??) I actually read books 7-9 (after the cataclysm with Tasslehoff travelling forward in time) about 8 years ago wondering what they were all talking about because i never had the oppurtinity to read the earlier books. The 4th book (legends) just came out and i read that too.
Quoting somchaay, reply 23 A tech called "A Dance With Dragons"? Thank goodness the release date is set; otherwise I would never believe that the game would be coming out. Write the damn book, George. LOL, I was thinking the exa
Wow looks like this thread finally got underway and i am not the only one with problems... I do not have a creditcard but i found someone who does. Still unclear though does the box ship to europe or do we have to download via impulse, i greatly prefer the box. BTW if someone else buys it for u does that change anything, it's not like i need all kinds of codes or something, i thought stardock disliked stuff like that.
I am from Holland and am in the same package. I asked this same question about a week ago. In the meantime i have found someone with a creditcard so i might be able to have the gamebox shipped to me though it's all really really complicated.
Hi guys, I asked this question earlier on but what exactly are the possibilities to buy the game in europe since there isn't going to be retail. I never bought a game online and i dont have a creditcard or something like that, all the payment options on this site when you click on pre-order are unavailable to me. I really want to play this game but how to acquire it?? Are there going to be more payment options/ maybe some dutch online stores that allow bank transfers instead of credit
Whats paypal?? Internetwallet?? Again don't like to acquire one of those just for this?? Basically i would need an account book some money over from my bank account and buy the game with that?? Seems a bit uhm... cumbersome (which is a google translation so that might make no sense)
Hi you guys new here, Made an account in response of the 'problems' with European retail. I am from Europe (Holland) and can't help but feel discriminated here. From a businesspoint of view i can understand Stardock's decision but it is really annoying. Like someone else pointed out earlier on not everyone in Europe/Holland has creditcards, in fact i don't know anyone who does! In the USA it may be the standard to have half a dozen different ones but here we don't!! I found this site
