I would argue that just as your customers may not realize your standard wage, you may not realize what they are going through. That guy who didn't tip you anything, maybe he just found out he has pancreatic cancer and has 1 month to live? Maybe that lady over there just got an eviction notice and has to figure out where her and her kids are gonna call home next week. Maybe that customer over there is just a complete douchebag - they're out there too.
This. &nbsp

I'm gunna go play my cracked copy of New Vegas, keep me posted on the piracy crackdown in Sweden You work for free? Sounds like you are the moral crusader, selflessly donating your time and labor to others without compensation. Just sayin'.
<p

I've been talking about Elemental a lot with a friend of mine at work and wanted him to try the demo out once its released. I remember reading that it would be based on v1.1 but can't recall if there was any ETA given. I'm loving the private build and would be happy to recommend that he try the demo when it does come out. Thanks for everything guys keep it up!
I think the game is great. I also keep updating my EXE to the latest one that Frogboy puts up and the AI IS SO MUCH better. Still has a ways to go though. I know that a lot of people are probably not playing the AI on the hardest difficulty because you have to manually set each AI to the difficulty you want.
It tells you whether or not a spell uses INT in the spell description.

Vista with 1gb of RAM probably has FPS issues too lol Virtual memory only helps so much. I'd put more ram in that thing before doing anything with it to be honest.

1.1 Is playable, VERY stable and reasonably fun for me. Turn times get a bit long in the late game but its nothing like Civ V's turn times. Its come a long way and will only get better, get it all updated and find a graphics setting that works for you and you'll probably enjoy it.
Update: I decided to go ahead and buy Civ 5. It runs on my machine just fine--in DX9 mode. DX11 mode seems to drag a lot more.
I should try it on DX9 more. Turn times are whats REALLY annoying me about this game. I played through like 250 turns of BTS in a few hours the other night and I was like this would take me 3 days on Civ V!

I say yes just based on the improvement we've seen so far and knowing that it will continue well into the future. I'm having fun playing the game right now as it is and I think I've had only 1 crash since 1.1 Getting in on the first expansion is a great deal as well. The game is not perfect, but nothing is. If you're the type of person who's going to get all up in arms about the game not being polished and perfectly balanced then you should wait. If you want to play a reasonably entertaining

This patch actually has made a big difference. A little more love for diplomacy and some work on the long turn times and I'll be having even more fun with the game.
I guess many of the same things could be said about elemental as well.
Ya think!? Funny reading people on the Elemental forum wondering how things slipped past testers, talking about how a patch wont make much difference and that AI issues may never be solved. Thanks for the laug

Meh, the whole Steam thing is blown out of proportion, as are Civ 5's weak points. Patience is virtue, the world isn't a perfect place.
