Hi sailkgyula, there's no harm in giving the current build a go. I like the new hero trait tree and although I find the game buggy (usually a crash when something levels up) it's still a very enjoyable experience. When 1.3 comes out I'm sure things will greatly improve again. Keep up the great work guys (& gals) Andy.

It would be nice to level Hero's a bit quicker as most of mine only get to about lvl10 by the end of a game. I don't ever get them up to the more interesting abilities in their chosen path [e digicons]:([/e] Andy.

I'd love to have militia auto upgrade to at least leather armour. I would be more likely to venture out into the world if I knew my city was in safe (safer) hands. The world needs to be explored and enjoyed rather than viewed from the safety of my battlements! Before anyone says that I should be a better player cause they can beat everything on nutter bas*ard level, I'll admit that I'm not great at this game but just love to play it.

I find that it's quite laborious to only be able to do 1 block as a raise or lower with each cast. How about a hold and drag box to do several sections at a time, or use control and click to select several squares?

I have found the list of cheats available and how you have to type the word "cheat" at the end of the launch shortcut, but I just can't get it to work on my game. My pathname has "" at either end whereas other peoples doesn't seem to. I only want to use the map reveal code to follow the AI's progression. Please can someone enlighten me? Cheers, Andy.
Same here, my world started to look like Sparta! I was thinking of opening a club called the Blue Oyster where they constantly play YMCA.
Maybe you could just select a design from your current training options (including player designs) and click to upgrade to that type. Providing you have the gold/resourses to do it.
Ok thanks guys, but still a bit odd that enchantments are not taken into consideration. Perhaps the AI was concerned that my 18K mana pool was not enough. [e digicons]:P[/e]
I have recently been trying out mana shield (way to overpowered in my opinion - but that's another story). When using auto resolve my hero's are taking actual physical damage rather than the damage being deducted from the mana pool. Not sure if this is intended or a bug, but thought I should mention it. I've had problems with this slow down also, but it only seemed to happen if I'd used ctrl+n to get a better starting position at the beginning. Once this idea had hit me I started to notice that games where I never used ctrl+n didn't have this slow down issue. It could however just be coincidence.
It's not always an auto move problem as I have had this countless times with units from my side and the AI's that are still trying to move - the dreaded "running man". If you check out the map and find one of your units running on the spot click on them an reissue or cancel the move order and the turn button re reappears. If it's one of the AI units then usually a reload will free it up, but sometimes a particular obstruction in the world will cause this to happen agai
I've had this with Magnar once and had to quit a game because he had over 300 fire damage and was untouchable! He had stacked dozens of burning blades. I bug methinks!

For me David Eddings, with his Belgariad (5 books) and his Malloreon (also 5 books) series are like old friends to me now, I keep going back. He also did some spin offs about some of the main characters (Belgarath & Polgara). Nice easy reads. Andy.
