Fistalis - good points about the whole Metacritic thing! I would hope that Derek chooses to release the game when it's a really great game for the players, and it's ready, and not a moment before. =) I'm pretty sure that Derek is the one who has the final say on when to release.

To Fistalis: I'm not saying the Metacritic score is the only thing that is important, no. =) But if Metacritic is only by reviewers, then that reduces the usefulness of the measure by a certain amount, definitely. =)

What I hope is that Stardock really does give the game enough time to get a Metacritic 90 average. Even if it takes 6 months (or longer).

Mass damage spells like fireball and blizzard should require at least three actions to cast, since being Impulsive effectively gives you 2 right at the start of combat, effectively allowing them to cast instantly. Maybe they should even require four actions? However, I think it would be better if all surviving units on both sides must have at least 1 action after the initial cast, before any super powerful spell is released. This would essentially mean you have to defend y

I strongly concur with point 1. What is the use of Double Strike being -4 Accuracy per strike, when there is never a chance of missing because of reduced accuracy?
What does OPost mean? Not familiar with the term.
I meant "Original Post", since OP can mean "Original Post" and/or "Original Poster". =)

Currently there is no resistance against damage spells, unless you are immune or resistant to the type of damage the spell does. Could you allow us to test out magic resistance providing a % resistance against damage spells, which would also multiply with resistances and vulnerabilities to damage types? This would also make intelligence stat more useful. And I think % reduction in spell damage is far superior to binary "resist or not?" and can be planned around and not be a

Send an email to [email protected]. If you bought WoM in the correct timeframe you should get access, but you do need to follow up if you think you should have access but don't, as it is impossible to get to 100% of people. Some people need to get in touch with them. =) EDIT:Forgot the ".com". =)

Well, you still have to click them all, but if you ctrl-click one, then all the rest, and then right-click on a square adjacent to the town, they will all come out in the same square (but if there are more units from the town than you have army size, I think there will be multiple groups on the same square).

I had a similar case (getting stuck changing turns), on a Core 2 Duo, with auto-turn turned off, but it also happened after I unlocked the Legendary Armor from the quest. But I have Windows 7 (I have been using my 64-bit Pro version).

Maybe a trophy could give +1 Food for a city? After all, Blacksmiths give +1 Materials, why not a special building that gives +1 Food? Comments regarding natural fertiliser aside, it would seem that later in the game +1 Food would be more use than +Prestige, or a building that could unlock a special 6th level for your capital. Maybe a statue that promotes fertility and growth? Stranger things have happened in the world of Elemental! =) Not all of this post is s

seanw3, yes that makes a lot of sense. Hopefully some really good stuff will be in the next patch!
So, a regular Pioneer can't build roads but a custom-made one can?
The way it worked was like this. Edit the default Pioneer. Save the results. That new Pioneer would act like a regular Pioneer for that game. However when you start a new game and still have the Unit Design for the edited Pioneer. Building that Pioneer would result in a Pioneer who wouldn't have the normal functions, howeve

There was a bug, not sure if it's there in 0.77, but a customized pioneer unit from a previous game, trained in a new game, can't build cities or outposts, but can build roads. ;-)
