Symondus
Still appears in 3b
Also you should not start next to each other. This is especially bad for casters/archers which can be reached on the first turn. I like however the size of the battlefield. You can easily see all of it.
The custonization options are still in for men (mumbles) but the new races have only basic stuff. Just change your souvereigns race to men. The access to the details should robably be handled by the button in the bottom left of that central round thing. This button does not work however for the time beeing.
Still happening in 3b. Or, the otherway round, the automatically flatten function does not work correctly.
@Spellcasting: Go to your spellbook and click the star (add favourite) next to your tactical spells
Furthermore a Sysetm like in MoM allowing you only two attacks and/or one spell per turn would help. My souvereign (4 combat speed, much int) is simply casting all enemys dead the first turn.
It his twohanded claymore (weapon strength 30) weapons need a stron rebalncin, with the most powerfull weapons somewhere around 20 and the weakest around 5.
Had the same thing with spiders.
I also had those problemd: 1) Janusk costing 120 Gold compared to my 100 Startig Gold (which is a bit low if you do not find a 100 Gildar Goddy hut) 2) Janus within a band of adventures costing 1260 Gold. However, as i assume Janusk is going away for the final version Janusk problems will be quite low on the list.
On a related note: If tactical spells are added yout favorite spells on the main map get scaled down (i assume because of more than 5 favourites). Please make them scale only dependend on the number of actually castable spells.
Thats great. I really like that you put in a full suit of armor in one piece. Never understood why you have to add each piece seperately, while all are researched at the same time. If he would additionally wear some tabart, now that would have been a sight.
https://forums.elementalgame.com/383246 You get there by Going Gameplay -> Basic Game Play Took me also some time to find it. So not a big matter. EDIT: I think Brad asked to keep us occupied. Bad me, I spoiled all the fun.
Removed stupid me
Warlord Vega misses Skin texture. When equiping Warlord Vega with different stuff, and having the head visible due to a helm, you notice that his skin changes with the equipment. You can see it from this savegame or the screenshots. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9038574/CaravanNotWorking.EleSav <img src="http://content.screencast.com/users/Symondus/folders/Default/media/f4b5495a-e94
Ok checking back. The next caravan did not work either. Probably some problem with the rout calculation or somethin as a bay is between the cities. In the other game the distance was also rather large.
I also had this problem. Here is a savegame. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9038574/CaravanNotWorking.EleSav The caravan in the southern city (Agaro) does not work. It was sent from Cayaela. Note that the caravan was built before the city of Agaro was founded. It might berelated as the same thing happened in an earlier game wi
I am just reporting all those things, because in a hurry those might be overlooked. And bad, aswering while i find some typos and corrected them. You should have read it after me removing typos. :D
This will probably balanced for the release version anyway, but at the moment most pregenerated souvereigns are strongly overbudget. Furthermore we can not rebuild them as theri weapons and parts of their clothes are not available in the souvereign builder. Example for overprices: Procipinee: 12 Points overbudget + Weapon for free (Magesstaff, unavailable) Carrodus: 15 Poins overbudget + Big Swort (Unavailable, this alone would cost 120 points when the c
I have been able to also find this. This is related to the fact, that units do not move as an army but move individually if you select them like shown in the screenshot below. In the case that you select units in this way and attack someone the units fight one after the other with the enemy. This happened to me also when attacking an enemy selecting some units in this way (i did not want to include my pioneer in the attack) and 7 of my units were then killed one by one by a se
I in fact are also a friend of regions (which is a good representation for the political control you spoke of). Historically the idea of cultural and domestic control hat not much influence on how borders were drawn. Most borderes really were generated by Military and Political control. In medieval times it was (at least in the holy roman empire) not a question of influence or whatever, but really a question of personal possession or land beeing tied to a title. There in fact each pie
Problem: At the moment (Beta 3A) when you capture a city you also capture the whole area, so e.g. capturing an empire town as kingdom the whole area turns green within the instant and all resources are controlled by you. The same thing happens when someone founds a city at the outskirts of your territory: Boom a lot of land is instanly lost. This is quite bad with the new sytem of resource control. It is also not visualy pleasing. Furthermore i
Here is an example of what QA is dealing with: Long list of things.
Do you want us to comment on theses thing during our beta 3B feedback or should we leave these issues in the hand of QA and focus on other things?
Just read the first part of your proposal (yes heard you talk about communities in your videos, i think 3 times :D; really great work i must say). I think with building on resources within your territory you are like building small villages. Maybe one could build on these resource villages. Add some houses around those, or simly allow building your buildings not only onto your main city but also add some houses workshops or the like on each resource. So instead of building the
