I commented in another thread already upon summoning. The main problem is that (i) you are forced to use low level summons, because you can have only a few high level ones. This should be remedied by removing the one per type limit. (ii) the summons get better the more spellbooks you have that provide summons. Having a wide variety of spellbooks allows for much more summons. This is also strange and would also be remedied b

This issue appears with all quest were you have to fight enemies (eg. Dragon questline, The forge questline). If you lose or even flee you are still awarded the quest reward, and the monsters are simply placed on the map. You should either - get the possibility to return later fighting said group of monster (this could be bad because a different faction could kill them) - get the possibility to start the fight again somewhat later (monsters should then not appear on th
The back does not share an itemslot with the robe so it seems unlikely. However as the robe is my starting equipment, i can not even unequip it. It should simply be replaced if an corresponding item is equipped, and be restored if the item is uneqiupped again.
Here is the promised Savegame where (for me) the souvereign can not equip helm, back and full leather armor. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9038574/Thingsnotfitting.EleSav As the Screenshot below also shows, the items are also not listed in his detailed inventory, while they appear in the quick access bar to the bottem left. <img src="http://content.screencast.com/users/Symondus/folders/Default/media/51c2b0
Had noted this with the Journeymans cloak another game. I could however equip a full set of leather armor bought from the shop. Unfortunately that game was on a different machine, so no save and err. Will report back if i got an according savegame.
I have this problem with food and arcane knowledge in my current game. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9038574/JunpingFood_and_Arcaneresearch.EleSav Edit it seems related to the temple northeast of hitwacha that is at one turn linked to the city wile on the next turn not linked to any city (accirding to the informaiton in the bottmom left of the interface bar). &nb
I also found that confusing. Try to let him (automatically) cast that one spell that teleports him away.
I razed a city (silly minor faction cities). The caravan routes to the city were deleted for my other towns, however the caravan-merchant units still remained on the map and simply stood there. Either delete them or convert them back to those caravans with their wagons. No savegame as dropbox is on another machine as the one i am playing with today. Will provide a savegame showing the bug tomorrow if requested.
E. Sagogs Egg [3c] Fled from combat in the temple that was part of the quest. However afterwards i was awarded the dragon Egg and could proceed. The quest at this point should either fail, or i should have to return to finish it. Note that the remaining enemies were spawned on the map after i fled and were converted to roaming creatures.
Again a problem concerning part IV of the opening post. My souvereigns Spellbook moved to the second page of the action bar. Therefore i had to scroll to access spells. Consider moving the buy button and the Found empire button also to the back of the list.
Problem At the moment the ultimate way for spell research is (if water or earth magic): Research maximum Spelllevel -> Research Earthquake or Flood -> exterminate all enemies This result of the current (low) Price of Spelllevels seems strange. If you research in an more typical way, researching all available spells before progressing a spell level, then casters with much spellbooks will obtain the more powerfull spells with great de
Also reportet here (including screenshot).
Restarting the game does not solve the problem for me.
End of turn button does not work. Reproducible from the savegame below. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9038574/Struck.EleSav (The good news is save games now (3c) always load on the first try, so good work there!)
Same here.
Same here. The resources then read: Can not be used by your Faction. Furthermore (upon new start of the game), we can still build on several resources from the city menue if they are more or less next to the town. However these resources then count as city tiles and steping upon them teleports to the town.
I think a very simple solution to decreasse city size whiout major changes would be to simply reduce all 4 tiel city buildings to 1 tile buildings. The size mattered (in terms of gameplay) when there were tile restritcions. However as those no longer apply some of the 4 square buildings should only require 1 space. Only the fortress and the City Center should remain at full tiles.
Was in tactical combat. The framerate slowed down dramatically at the beginning of battle. Upon casting a fireball the game crashed. Fireball worked flawlessly before (in 3C), but slowdowns were experienced several times AFTER tactical combats and were remedied by restarting the game. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9038574/Elemental0_91-2010-07-20T00-59-32-31.zip
[3C] Update Burn : Noted that range of spells in tactical combat is fubar. This also explains why Burn does so much damage compares to otehr spells. So the range of 1 should apply for tactical battles. Fireball: The particle effect is to large. Its a sphere covering about 3 tactical tiles.. I think there was a factor of 10 missed somewhere in the scaling.
Title say it all. :D
As this screams give me feedback: Here it is. The update notifier seems to work correctly. Scrolling also works for me. I also like it very much, as it makes sure most people will play 1.01 instead of 1.0 on August 24.
This bug appears on the races used by Kraxis, Gilden, Tarth and Pariden. The other races do not have this specific clipping error.
Partially fixed in 3B. In case of Porcipinee (where i tested it) the Model was changed, if she would appear twice. The name however remained, so still two Ladys Porcipinee in one game. So please also put in alternative Names. EDIT: Lady Irane when twice has the same appearance as my souvereign. EDIT2: Ok its only Lady Procipanee and General Corrodus who get a new Model upon appearing twice.
Ok one more suggestion. For F. Diplomacy: Vassals: A Vassal would no longer make his own diplomacy but simply copy your diplomatic treaties. It could be a peacful option (e.g. with Minor Factions) and/or a result of a peace treaty.
Right now in Diplomatics you can buy nearly anything for Diplomatic Capital. If your enemy is a really diplomatic badass having 2000 Capital while you have a meager 150, it seems strange that you can throw your Capital to decide deals, neglegting his superior Negation Power. This allows, e.g., to simply buy technology from vastly superior AIs for cheap Diplomatic Capital. I propose, that if Diplomatic Capital is offered to sweeten a deal, the Negotiation Partner also automatical
