Just out of curiosity I set up the best scout units I could last game, with a mount, the scout trait, and stealth, then put them on explore. They lasted like 10 turns before being munched on instead of 3. One them though went straight into a corner and started spitting out explore errors at me every turn. Worth a laugh at least.

So out of the blue this faction sends me a peace offering, lets end this war, I can agree or refuse like normal. The issue is, I wasn't at war with this faction, or any faction at all, and hadn't ever gone to war yet that game. That AI was close to me and I had Trade, Economic and NAP treaties with them, none of which were canceled after I agreed to end the non-existent war with them. Possibly unrelated, but happening that same turn my Treasury Vault finished, seemingly severa
That was one of the first things I tried, if I turn the Steam UI off (AKA Steam Community In-Game) the GameOverlayUI.exe doesn't flicker on and off for a few seconds after I close the game, but it also doesn't fix the actual issue, which is why I said that flickering appears to be just a side effect. I don't have anything new running on my PC. I monitor what's running pretty closely and cut out as much as possible, like adobe auto-updaters and punkbuster and other cra
You can get bonus by traits training a unit in a leveled fortress.
That weird thing with the mouse appears to be GameOverlayUI.exe opening and closing several times after I exit the game. I think it's a side effect of Steam still thinking the game is open. I noticed it does the same with Defiance, even though I can relaunch that game without shutting down Steam. At this point I'm thinking maybe it's purely a Steam issue, something with the latest patch didn't agree with my PC I guess. Good news is I haven't crashed at all while pl
If it makes a difference I have Vista 64bit. I've tried everything short of reinstalling both Steam and LH just to see if it was one of my settings or something. Tried offline, tried without steam in-game community, tried turning mods off in LH, verified both installs, checked steam for updates, and tried launching LH from 3 different locations (desktop, steam taskbar icon, and from within steam). It happens every single time since yesterday, and it never happened at all before (a
Patch didn't work. Just opening LH and quitting right away from the menu (never even starting a game) then trying to open it again several minutes later I get: " Steam - Error Failed to start game (app already running). " Opening taskmanager and checking processes (Vista) I can again confirm the game is not running. I tried turning syncing back on to see if maybe that being off somehow caused it, but the game doesn't sync because steam d
No he had a stone mace it looked like.
Last game Verga attacked one of my cities with Mausolos(sp?), another champions, and a couple militia. It was actually pretty much undefended at the time, I didn't think he would attack, so the fight was very close. I noticed the golem wasn't doing anything except skipping it's turn every turn, and not even getting a defending bonus for it, so I save him for last. Finally it came down to just a single group of militia archers and Mausolos still at full health (100+), even when he
Could it be that it's saving to the cloud?
I turned cloud syncing off first day after installing this. The saves were way too big to always be uploading at my crappy roadrunner upload speeds. Good to know it's hopefully being fixed in the next patch.
In FFH2 there's a common random city event where people accuse a girl of being a witch and if you have her killed you get a temporary happiness boost. That's what popped into my head when I read ElanaAhova 's post.
Oh you can raze it, it just doesn't solve the end turn bug. It's an awesome idea, a special city you can capture, but it feels very much like somebody dropped it in as a concept with little if any testing and forgot about it. Before LH it didn't really matter, it was a weak buggy city but it was better than nothing, now with the global unrest from cities it's not even worth keeping.
On autoresolve nothing gets a swarm bonus, which makes wolves and mites and darklings just as easy as before.
Skeletons will fight other monsters. I don't know if they gain exp from it. I also don't know if it's only the skeletons spawned by the skeleton invasion event.
It gets +3/3/3 to it's yields, which usually makes it like a 7/6/3, but that really doesn't do any good, no reason for it to have food because there's no reason to level the city, and high materials is kind of pointless when it's limited to so few buildings and will never be used as a training city. It looks like it's supposed to gain defenders at higher populations, but I haven't seen that work and I'm wondering if those defenders are supposed to be what you fight
No the game has closed completely, I'm sure of it. I checked under processes and it's not there. I can't close Steam the normal way either, it fails to close to LH, probably because it can't find it running, which is why I have to force close the steam process. This only started happening after the last steam patch, and it's 100% of the time. I can close LH normally through the menu, I can force close it after it freezes, or it can crash, in all case Steam still thinks it&
My game started crashing and locking up a lot more yesterday, and today every time I've closed the game and tried to restart Steam has given me an error saying the game is still running. I have to force close the steam exe in taskmanager then reopen Steam to relaunch the game. I remember there was a Steam patch yesterday, wondering if it did something the game didn't agree with.
Deorceane or whatever. Still undefended, still has a tendency to prevent you from hitting "End Turn" after you capture it. Still completely useless after you do own it, stuck as a village, with no upgrades. At least the wildland itself appears to clear correctly now so it's no longer trapped in a sea of green influence. Going to reload and try to raze it, Verga is stuck in a pathing dance a few tiles away apparently trying to decide if he should attack the undefended city or not,
4. Has been around since FE came out with these city defenders. Been reported multiple times since. One of those bugs I don't think they care about unfortunately.
They pretty much already do. I mean there aren't that many options, they build "preset" units but they use the best weapons or armor. How much more could they do?
Just to be clear, you can snake without a mod, manual building placement is in the options menu. You can stretch your city out quite a bit and cover huge amounts of land with your influence and connect many resources to it. I believe troops get bonus healing in your territory, I mean I've always assumed it was the case but never really paid attention. There's currently no bonuses to anything else but that can easily be changed since the values exist in the xml, currently set t
Yup, it's a bug they said they fixed in .51 that's still around and making the game very annoying to play sometimes. All city defenders are occasionally being multiplied to crazy numbers.
Steam doesn't sell anything and you can play this game in offline mode. Install the game at home through Steam, turn on offline mode, then take it wherever you want.
In your game folder under data/english (or whatever language I suppose) there's a file called CoreAIDefs.xml. Copy that and paste it into your documents/my games/LegendaryHeroes/mods folder, then open it up and find the line " " under it will be a "weight" value set at -9, just change that to whatever you want. Then make sure mods are turned on in your game options. Alternatively you can just edit the original file and it will work
There may be a hotkey for it you could be accidentally pressing. I've never had them go on explore on their own like that. Honestly it's a horribly useless button and if they can't figure out how to make the button highlight when it's on or something they might as well get rid of it to stop people from accidentally hitting it. Long ago in another thread somebody called it the button you hit to tell your unit to go off and die somewhere, because honestly they last like 3 turns
