There are some really talented artists at Stardock. I just wish you'd stop with the black outline. :
I would love to see the game to become more like this. I thought one of the reasons the game had pretty low quality graphics was to be able to handle a high amount of models on the screen at once.
good job man!
Are there any europeans who have gotten the box yet? I live in Sweden and ordered the limited edition, but I haven't received the box yet. I do have the game on Impulse, but I want the box and it has taken quite some time now :P
Previews? Isn't it time for reviews? :D
I, too, will try it out at a later date. It is simply just not as fun as I feel as it could be at the moment. I will come back after a few patches (depending what they do). I feel confident that Stardock will not rest until this game is up to par with peoples expectations. Buy it now if you can afford it otherwise just wait and see.
It's a little bit like a roguelike not having randomized dungeons. But it's probably not too hard to add at least a lot more seeds? Anyway this isn't the biggest issue for me with the game. However I can see this as a considerate problem for people who will play this game a lot.
I hope not. I want my limited to be as exclusive as possible :P
Did have you a small update to the game between those two games? In one screenshot, the Hit Points icon looks like the old one, and in the other one it's new (which I pointed out in a couple of journals ago :D). Glad to see it fixed! :D
I had to look long and hard to spot something to comment on; the icons for Hit Points and Mana. Could of course be placeholder graphics but they look vastly different, as if the icon of Hit Points didn't have transparency turned on: I also noticed that the middle bottom segment of the GUI followed another type of border which, IMO, does not look as pleasing as
I get this during loading screen when starting the game: "Failed to download data file. Please make sure you are connected to the internet and have no firewalls running" etc etc. Haven't got anything blocking access. What could be wrong? I'm logged into Impulse and I've tried updating.
Holy cow! 12 mbps.
Bah, should prio people who ordered Limited Edition! mutter mutter...
Ah yes it would seem I was correct. I just read this on Stardock's twitter: If you don't see Elemental - beta 2 in Impulse yet, no worries, it takes time to get to everyone. :) ^SS less than a minute ago via <a re
Still nothing, but I guess that means they're going though the pre-orders systematically.
I bought the game ~2 weeks ago and never got any serial key. I assumed the game would pop up on Impulse (yes I have the correct settings).. But it's not there. So now I'm guessing I have to wait for an e-mail with a beta code?

Someone should develop a platform combining all digital distributors. :p You'd use the different websites/apps to buy the products but one single lightweight app to manage the games you own.
FO1&2 are great TBCRPGs with humor, memorable characters, atmosphere and charm. FO3 is a shitty shooter with stats.
I bought the limited edition purely to support Stardock. However, looks like I'll get some cool stuff as well.
Me too and this will be my first Stardock game. I was overwhelmed by the dedication they have to their customer base. They really know what good PC gaming is about.
I was a cardboard outer case ( with no real reinforcing cardboard to stop the box from collapsing ) and then on the inside there was a really sad effort of a cardboard dvd sleeve with the dvd loosely held in.
That missing 't' made that sentence quite hilarious. EDIT: On a second reading, it wasn't. Well a little maybe. I was extremely tired.
I love the art style in this game. Can't wait to play it!
"We’re not kidding about the “Limited” aspect of this. We’re currently only planning to authorize the production of 10,000 of these. But for those of you who, like me, miss the “old days” of Ultima IV and such when games came with big maps, cloth maps and other goodies, here you go." Nice! I'm glad I pre-ordered one! :D I hope the box is durable... But for me it's more important that it's styl
